My daughter (7 years), takes 3 Zenoxa 150mg daily (in total 450mg). I can see almost all side effects which are mentioned for Oxcarbazepine, the side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision are quite noticeable. Doctor says to continue this medicine for another 2 year or more. But looking at her current state, I am worried about her in general fitness. She is not able to pay any attention to studies also. Can anyone suggest any natural way to cure this? Suffered seizer on 1-8-2008 was initially on Eptoin OD subsequently doctor prescribed Zenoxa 750 mg OD no further seizure on Zenoxa for last one year. Want to know side effects of Zenoxa whether it is suitable for long duration. Thanks ## Zenoxa contains the active ingredient Oxcarbazepine, which is an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer. Hi need advice...my daughter is 19 years and taking Zenoxa CR300 since last 3 years. she was having epileptic attack since her child hood and it was stopped and no medicine were taken for 3 years (2007-2010). after 3 years gap, once she got attack and consulted the same doctor and he prescribed zenoxa CR 300 twice daily. I am a 41 year old male,for the last 1 year I have been taking Zenoxa OD 300mg as my doctor had prescribed this as a mood stabiliser.Also I am under psychiatric treatment for the last 10 years(other medicines I take Fluvoxin 50 once a day,Serenace .25mg twice a day, Clofranil 25mg once a day). Hi, My mother takes zenoxa 300 twice a day. She has had two seizures - one this year and one last year around the same time. On starting, the seizures don't stop and the doctors had to administer general anesthetic for it to stop. The doctors have prescribed zenoxa 300 twice a day. Do you think it will stop her seizures for the rest of her life? What other medicine may be good if this is not a good option.

is zenoxa a better drug than frisium? ## AGE 18, getting frequent attacks of headache radiating from right tooth to upper portion of right side. Doctors advised to take Zonoxa, od 150 mg. Please advise me what could be the side effects for it. ## From my experience any day, zenoxa is a better drug with lesser side effects than frisium. My father had drooling, extreme confusion, unsteady gait, slurred speech and blisters in the mouth on having frisium. On the other hand with zenoxa, you might experience a headache or constipation,nothing compared to side effects of frisium.

I am using zenoxa od from a month. I had used it before too. I have a constant head ache, not too much though. My dosage now is 300mg in morning and 450mg at night. I am a bi polar and I still feel down at evenings. I used to take lithium before as 1-0-3 of 300mg and Betacap for the little tremors I used to get. I think I should start some exercise or work out to keep me with good hormones and come out of my X:), which bothers me. Though I smoke marijuana occasionally, I need to stop to observe my mood variations and settle down for good control and observations:) Hope this helps my fellow beings:) open up and share your status to be aware and to beat illnesses effectively:)

I am taking Zenoxa 450mg two times a day for the last four month. Now joint pains have started in all body. Whether it is a side effect of the medicines. I had a fall post seizure which happened while I was crossing a road, luckily no vehicle was around. I hit my head and right of my face on the Tarmac, but had only a minor hemorrhage in the brain with hair line injury on the jaw as I was wearing a coutomary had gear. Was unconscious for some time.
