If they've both been prescribed for you by doctors who are aware that you're taking both medications. Otherwise, combining them isn't safe, especially if your body is not tolerant to such medications. Both of them can cause sedation and depression of the central nervous system, so you may inadvertently overdose. I am about to take my first Zanidip and I was wondering what the real common side effects are, also is there anywhere you can get it alot cheaper. My 12 year old son began taking celexa 10 days ago (10 mg). The results are awesome. His mood is much better, no sadness, more talkative, excitement and joy seems to have returned. This morning after a couple hours at school he told me that he was getting like quick electric "zaps" in his head. They only last a second. He says they are like when someone touches you after "rubbing their feet on the carpet" type zaps. I've googled, and all I can find is that these are withdrawl symptoms from celexa. Has anyone else experienced this at the start up of this medication? Loving the results until this happened. I've been taking tizanadine /zanaflex for 10 years at 36 mgs per day. That's the max dose allowed. I had daily migraines for 3 years along with spine and neck djd and insomnia. It helps with all of this. I lost my pcp a couple of months ago and do not want get get off of this medication. It allows me to live without pain and function. My new pcp wants me off and when I cut down, I have horrible panic attacks and severe high blood pressure. Any suggestions? I have to find a new pcp but don't want to dr hop.
