i am using this tablet following my sinusitis operation since 4 years. If i stop this tablet, the next day i am feeling like, running nose, itching in the nose, sneezing with bad smell, head ache. Please give me information on this drug? My physician prescibed the drug singulair but it wasn't available in our community drugstore. The parmacist said that Montemax is its equivalent and I bought it instead. Thanks. ## Montelukast is the generic for Singulair. It is not available in generic form in the U.S. yet, but it is common for generics to be available faster in other countries. I have been taking Linzess for over a month now, highest dose. Have had IBS my whole life. I drink water all day long. I am peeing about every hour! I still have 4-5 days without a bowel movement then constipation followed by diarrhea. When I am able to have a bowel movement for a few days in a row, I feel so much pressure in my abdomen, like I have gas or have to go to the bathroom but can not go. My I have a drink while on Montair FX? ## Hello, JB! How are you? It is best not to imbibe, while under treatment with any prescription medication. Combining them with alcohol tends to worsen the side effects, causing one drink to affect you as if you'd had 2 and so on. MIMs lists this medication as containing Montelukast and Levocetirizine, it is most commonly used to treat allergies. Due to the typical side effects, drinking may cause them to be more intense than usual, so you may feel more dizziness, drowsy and dry mouthed than normal. I have continuous throat infection... even antibiotics dont work. I have been taking monticope once in three days which gives me a bit of relief. Have been taking Multaq for six months now . It has not stopped my afib, but has kept it at a rate that I can deal with. My pulse does not get as high as it has in the past, sending me to the hospital .The episodes have not lasted as long as before the Multaq.! I also was taking Xarelto. Did not tolerate Pradaxa. Now after the second time on Zarelto I have again had blood in urine. After the first 3 months it seemed to be starting to help clear the nail at the base. I was happy because this treatment was not causing me painful ingrown toenails like the Keridyn did. Unfortunately, 6 months into this treatment, the skin around my nails are now having massive irritation, redness, drying, cracking, peeling and bleeding. This happened to me when I used Keridyn after 8 months and I had to stop using it. I am so dissappointed, I'll probably have to stop this too, it's getting too painful. I started taking Coveram last December 2017 and after 1 week i developed cough which I find very disturbing. The effect of it was exemplary and just maintained my BP but the cough is really my concern. Just this March, my follow up check up, I talked to my Doctor and raised my concern regarding the cough.
