Why would my son have a round yellow pill with 853 and a half moon on it? What would it do to him? Is a light yellow round pill that says 271 and has a half of a moon on the other side a morphine ???? I reallly need to know !! ## Yes it's suppose to be a 30mg Morphine Sulfate Extended Release. I have taken them for a month now and I bearly feel it working. This medication from Actavis sucks big time. My sleep has suffered along with more pain and I feel like I'm withdrawing. If anyone else has felt the same please let me know so I can get my doctor to change to some other manufacturer. The purple 30mg worked great but my pharmacy doesn't carry them anymore. Would like to know who distributes a 40mg yellow oxycodone with half moon and 330? What company? ## Hi Rebecca - The "half moon" sounds a lot like either the old Actavis logo or the Alvogen logo. Unfortunately I can't find a version with 330 on it from their product listings. Actavis does distribute a 40mg yellow oxycodone but with "OP 40" on it. But Alvogen's markings are a bit closer - They have an Oxycodone 10mg + Acetaminophen 325 mg pill (generic Percocet) which is round and yellow with the inscription 230 along with the Alvogen logo on them (NDC 47781-230). Does this possibly sound like what you might have? If you see a Google Image search for the Alvogen logo it could help to you verify that half moon. Please let me know if this helps at all. There is a half moon looking marking on one side, and the numbers 635 on the other side - the pill is yellowish white. ## The closest thing which I have found so far (based on the "half moon looking mark") is Lovastatin 40 mg, manufactured by Actavis. Their pill is described as "yellow, round, flat-faced, beveled edge tablet ... Actavis logo on one side; 635 on the other side" [1]. If you see the manufacturer's logo at the top left of their site you will see that it does resemble a half moon. I hope this information helps! I've got a peach color pill its round has 271 and half moon is it morphine? ## Hi G, Based on my research, Actavis makes a 30mg Morphine sulfate ER tablet that is depicted as being round and "yellow", marked with 271 and a half moon logo. Seeing that yours is peach colored and not yellow, I'd question its legitimacy right off the bat - unless you had got it filled at a licensed pharmacy?
