Yellow Pill With 36 01 On It

My wife's Vicodin are different this time. Yellow, oblong, but it definately says 35 01, not 36 01, and there is a V on the other side. Are these still 10/325's? ## As strange as it sounds, there is no Vicodin marked V 35 01, only V 36 01; which are the 325 mg / 10 mg. Unless "V 35 01" is a completely new pill that just came out, I'm a bit stumped on this one. Regardless of the possible misprint, the "V" suggests that these were manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals (now known as Qualitest). I was prescribed hydrocodone apap 10-325 (yellow pill with 10 36 on it) for back pain. However, I have severe allergies with a bad cough and i noticed that after taking this pill for a few days, my allergies symptoms were greatly improved. My cough was gone. Nothing else has ever helped my allergies. Is this possible?

Drug store refiiled my prescription with a white oblong pill M367. I have been taking a yellow oblong pill 35 01 with a v on one side. Both I know are Hydrocondon-Acetaminopn 10-325. I recognize the M and V as the trademark manufacturer. I have found the yellow pill to be more effective than the white. Is this possible? ## Hi Karen, Different manufacturers use different inactive ingredients, binders, fillers etc...when making their "unique" formulations so it's possible that something that was used in the white pill could be causing your body to metabolize it differently than the yellow one. (my lable says watson but I believe it may be qualitest? ## Hi annie, Strangely enough, my research denotes the manufacturer of this pill to be "Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc." - hence the cursive-like "V" on one side of the pill. I'm not quite sure why the label would state it to be from Watson or someone else, but I do believe other manufacturers may repackage or distribute these same medications in a way that complies with their branding of it. Has anyone else received these pills from the same manufacturer?

Qualitest's hydrocodone/apap 10/325 V 36 01 makes me itch & causing head and ear congestion. ## Sometimes the fillers in these pills can cause allergic reactions, such as that which you mentioned in your description. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may agree with one medication over the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves.
