Yellow Pill 36 01

I was prescribed hydrocodone apap 10-325 (yellow pill with 10 36 on it) for back pain. However, I have severe allergies with a bad cough and i noticed that after taking this pill for a few days, my allergies symptoms were greatly improved. My cough was gone. Nothing else has ever helped my allergies. Is this possible?

I have an oblong yellow pill with a line down the middle and the numbers 36 01 on it. On the reverse it looks like a cursive V. My wife's Vicodin are different this time. Yellow, oblong, but it definately says 35 01, not 36 01, and there is a V on the other side. Are these still 10/325's? ## As strange as it sounds, there is no Vicodin marked V 35 01, only V 36 01; which are the 325 mg / 10 mg. Unless "V 35 01" is a completely new pill that just came out, I'm a bit stumped on this one. Regardless of the possible misprint, the "V" suggests that these were manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals (now known as Qualitest). This is a narcotic pain reliever, very strong and addictive. ## I wouldn't say they are "very strong", they are strong if you're not used to narcotic pain relievers, much stronger than a darvocet, tylenol 3, or even a plain vicodin 5/500, but weak compared to pain relievers such as percocet, roxycodone, morphine, dilaudid, demerol, oxycontin, fentanyl, and the many other stronger painkillers on the market. I HIGHLY agree that they're very addictive though. I struggled with addiction to vicodin and norco, so I know how addictive they are. ## in trouble need 5 10mg vicodin to feel ok a day

I refilled my prescription and received some yellow 10/325 vicodin. I normally take my dose and feel so much better, but the ones I just got make me so so sick. I vomit and feel hungover. I am concerned these are a bad batch or something I need them for my pain but am so scared to take these particular ones again. How can I tell if they are fake and/or bad? Please help. ## @Concerned patient, If you're receiving these meds through your doctor from a licensed pharmacy there should be no reason to even question whether or not they're real/fake. Pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, but often times they do dispense ineffective brands/generics that lack quality from cheap manufacturers. what BRAND is the one with the V? (my lable says watson but I believe it may be qualitest? ## Hi annie, Strangely enough, my research denotes the manufacturer of this pill to be "Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc." - hence the cursive-like "V" on one side of the pill. I'm not quite sure why the label would state it to be from Watson or someone else, but I do believe other manufacturers may repackage or distribute these same medications in a way that complies with their branding of it. Has anyone else received these pills from the same manufacturer?
