I purchase Topzole p40 . Is there a generic which I can purchase over the counter, " pharmacy " everytime I need to get a prescription ? ## TopZole contains the active ingredient Pantoprazole, which is a "prescription-only" medication here in the US; used to treat erosive esophagitis and other conditions involving excess stomach acid. A family member of mine takes Prilosec (Omeprazole) - which is regarded as an over the counter alternative for these same types of conditions. I'd imagine though, that it may or may not be quite as efficient compared to its prescription counterpart, but certainly worth a try if you need something for excess stomach acid. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Omeprazole Details I hope this helps!

i found a little bottle with asian lettering on it, a yellow "120" being most prominently displayed amongst the letters. it also says "evil root" on the label. lol. The actual pills have a pinched off oval shape with a stylized "C" followed by a "120" and they are a yellow color. any ideas what this stuff is? ## Hello, Spam3! How are you? Since these are from a foreign source, it is rather difficult to confirm what they contain. However, going by an alert I found provided by the Australian government, Evil Root is something that's sold as a male enhancer, but it is considered illegal in most countries, due to the fact that testing found it to contain the undeclared drug ingredient Sildenafil, which is the same medication as in Viagra. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that shrinks... no reason to be alarmed! ## I actually tried to look this particular pill up online, but couldn't find anything posted about it anywhere. So thanks for taking a moment to share your finding on that. It's definitely a big help when there's no other way to identify something like that. If anyone else ever comes across a similar pill, I did find that most round tablets starting with a "44 xxx" number sequence are generally common over-the-counter drugs here in the US. Would you also happen to know who manufactures this pill?

Found this pill in my sons room. should I be concerned. and what is it. ## If you found a pill in your son's room and do not know what it is, yes you should be very, very, very concerned. There should not be any pills in your son's room, including over-the-counter and supplements. You need to control all pills in your residence, know what everything is, what it is used for, dosage, time(s) of dosing, and who is supposed to be taking it. No one should be taking anything without parental knowledge, consent, and supervision, to include supplements and over-the-counter. Sometimes, kids/teens start abusing by taking/experimenting with whatever is in the house, and eventually they can end up trading with friends or dealers or selling. This is an emergency... your son's life and/or...
