Drug store refiiled my prescription with a white oblong pill M367. I have been taking a yellow oblong pill 35 01 with a v on one side. Both I know are Hydrocondon-Acetaminopn 10-325. I recognize the M and V as the trademark manufacturer. I have found the yellow pill to be more effective than the white. Is this possible? ## Hi Karen, Different manufacturers use different inactive ingredients, binders, fillers etc...when making their "unique" formulations so it's possible that something that was used in the white pill could be causing your body to metabolize it differently than the yellow one. Sometimes those little things can effect us in a big way. I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don't mention these kinds of details to their patients. Ha...

I was normally given the yellow v 3601-10/325pill & at CVS yesterday they gave me a white oblong pill with # M367 on the front also 10/325 in strength . The white oblong does not work for me as well as the yellow v pill. Why not ? I've been thru this with CVS before & even changed CVS locations just to get the yellow v pill. Now that CVS is giving me the white oblong M367. What can I do about it??? They say yellow pill will be out of stock til later. It's sooo frustrating! ## There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another. For most people the changes are insignificant and have no effect, but you may be sensitive to them. In most cases, if you wait a couple of weeks, your body will adjust to the new ones. Is the pink oblong Watson 502 stronger than the yellow Vicodin 3601 the 3601 actually give me energy and that's what I want ## Hello, Shorty! How are you? These pills aren't intended to be used for energy. That's actually why some people end up becoming addicted to them, because that type of side effect eventually wears off and the person has to keep taking more and more to get it back. Now, as to these tablets… The one with the WATSON 502 marking is no longer being manufactured. Watson listed it as containing 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone. However, all doses for combination prescription products have now been lowered to containing no more than 325mgs of the Acetaminophen, per dose.
