Its half of a pill and all I see is E2 and its shaped like a football and mustered colored ## My mom found it in the bag of one of my nephews and wants to know what it is ## Hi, Sam! How are you? If the E2 is the start of the imprint and there is no space between them, then it looks like it could be a 100mg Doxycycline tablet. I can't be sure, without knowing the full imprint, but that's the only one I found that matches as I've described. It is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of infections and it can cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Learn more Doxycycline details here. Can you please post back and let me know if there is or isn't a space between the E and the 2? Thanks!

My sister-in-law is in a Skilled Nursing Center. She just started taking this pill and doesn't know why. I can't find the answer either. It just has a capital "M" and small letters "pg". What is the purpose of this pill, please? ## Hello, Dale! How are you? I think the imprint on it might actually be M P9, it is manufactured by Matrix Laboratories and they list it as containing 40mgs of Pantoprazole in a time released formulation, it is used to help reduce the amount of stomach acid someone produces to treat, or prevent conditions such as heartburn, GERD, gastritis, and ulcers. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, and flatulence. Can you please double check the imprint and post back? Thank you!

The side effects included a strange feeling in your body, loss of appetite, calmness, just wanted to sit and feel good, made everything in the world wonderful, Very addictive. ## I'm sorry, but from this description, I really have no idea what it may have been. It is an off white cream colored pill that is shaped like a football blank on one side and a line through the center on the other side no other markings ## Where did you find it? If there are no markings, then it is most likely an over the counter product, since all manufactured prescription medications in the U.S. are required to have imprints to enable their identification in case of an emergency. However, there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. But, the reason I'm asking where you found it is because some products are regional, so the general location may help to narrow it down. Does anyone else recognize this?

I have some pills they are football shaped and are light beige they say 40 in black on one side but have no other markings. What are they please? ## I'm sorry, but I can't find a listing in any of our resources for a pill that meets this description and has just the number 40 on it. Where was it found/obtained? Do you have any other information on it? If there is nothing else to the imprint, this leads me to believe that it is, more than likely, something available over the counter. However, there is also a small chance that it might be a foreign medication. Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## i have them too, but they are supposed to be my refill of Protonix. However, I had some reaction after taking them for several nights, which leads me to believe they are not Protonix 40 ...
