I received some yellow 10/325 vicodin and I normally take 3 at a time and feel so much better but the ones I just got make me so so sick. I vomit and feel hungover. I am concerned these are a bad batch or something I need them for my pain but am so scared to take these particular ones again. How can I tell if they are fake and/or bad? Please help. ## @Concerned patient, If you're receiving these meds through your doctor from a licensed pharmacy there should be no reason to even question whether or not they're real/fake. Pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, but often times they do dispense ineffective brands/generics that lack quality from cheap manufacturers. I usually don't see too many complaints pertaining to the yellow V 36 01 from Qualitest; and I've also ... ...

What is the difference in the white oblonged pill with m367 and the yellow with a v an d 3601. ## The only difference between these two tablets is that they are manufactured by different companies. The one with the M marking is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and the one with the V is manufactured by Vintage/Qualitest. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. But both are the same dosage and contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon, Your wrong. It's very apparent that you are not taking these pills, and/or you have never had a long standing chronic pain problem, and had to go fr... ...

Fake V 3601 Yellows

I recently got some v3601 yellows. The outside is a lighter shade of yellow, with patches of white showing. When broken in half I could make out obvious specks of white inside the pill. Not shiny crystals like usual, but actual white specks. Is this normal? I have some pictures but cant post it from my phone. Otherwise the pills are the same size and have the same inscriptions on the pills. ## Those are fake. You should see the white crystals always. ## I think with any pill not received from a licensed pharmacy, there's always the risk of having counterfeits that can resemble it so closely, that the only way to truly verify its legitimacy would be to have it analyzed by a lab or drug panel. Generic norco/vicodin such as this is pretty commonly prescribed though, and I doubt pain ma... ...

What pharmacy carries these white ones do not work as well. ## Cherokee Hills Carrie the yellow ones. ## @Sandra, I noticed that you didn't mention your location. From what I can tell Cherokee Hills Pharmacies appear to be Oklahoma based. We certainly don't have one of those pharmacies here in Idaho. But all I really wanted to say was that you may have to visit several different pharmacies in your area until you find one that is willing and able to fill your prescription with the correct manufacturer that works best for you. Perhaps one type of question to ask them would be, "which manufacturer do you order your generic vicodin from?" ...and then proceed to tell them why it's important that you have a working medication, maybe the inactive ingredients don't sit w... ...

Compare White Oblong M 367 With Yellow 3601
2 Replies RSS
Drug store refiiled my prescription with a white oblong pill M367. I have been taking a yellow oblong pill 35 01 with a v on one side. Both I know are Hydrocondon-Acetaminopn 10-325. I recognize the M and V as the trademark manufacturer. I have found the yellow pill to be more effective than the white. Is this possible? ## Hi Karen, Different manufacturers use different inactive ingredients, binders, fillers etc...when making their "unique" formulations so it's possible that something that was used in the white pill could be causing your body to metabolize it differently than the yellow one. Sometimes those little things can effect us in a big way. I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don't mention these kinds of details to their patients. Ha... ...
