That coupled with the Effexor creates the risk of your developing serotonin syndrome, which can be fatal. I am moving from Effexor XR to wellbutrin xl because of severe weight gain. I have been trying to wean myself off to start the new medicine but I can't side the moodiness. Can I go ahead and start Wellbutrin if I have only moved from 150 Effexor to 75 so the change isn't do traumatic? ## What has your doctor advised? I have been taking efexor-xr since 2006 and mid 2007 have had dosage increased to 150mg daily i would like to know of the major side effects of this prescription drug. I.E. libido and another equivalent without side effects ## I would like to know if anyone else has had nasty withdrawal symptoms when coming off Efexor XR.? How slow, is slow, to come off this drug?

The pharmaceutical industry has really gotten carried away with these abbreviations, there are many that are used to mean the same thing, aside from the ER and XR, you may also see CR, SR, DR, CD, LA, XT and others. Round white pill, with 150 on one side. Above that, in a triangular shape are (at the base) 2 small triangles and (at the top) a rounded diamond shape. Found a bunch of these in a pill bottle labeled adderall xr, but I know that isn't what they are. ## This is a 150mg VesiCare tablet, used to help treat frequent urination or incontinence. I was prescribed seroquel xr only for sleep 150 mg for about 3 to 4 years. Gained about 30 lbs Read on other forums there is no hope getting the weight off when you wean off the drug. I was just informed by my pharmacy today today that my insurance will no longer allowe me to take Venlafaxine XR 150mg twice a day. They are only allowing it once a day. I have been taking this dosage since 1996. I called my psych and she said that my insurance company would not approve a prescription approval to keep me at my original dosage. I am a person with clinical depression [past 30 years] who takes 150 mg of Effexor XR daily. I have done therapy in the recent past for a few years and concluded it when my therapist and I mutually agreed it was no longer needed and just went to medical maintenance with a psychiatrist, which was going great, but he just closed his practice for health reasons. I am having trouble finding a physician or private psychiatrist to just prescribe me with this medication and see me maybe twice a year for a med-check to make sure all is still going well.
