I've only been out of pills for a day, and I'm having withdrawals (was trying to tough it out a little longer, big mistake). Until my Rx comes through, any suggestions? I've taken some Xanax just to calm down a bit. *Have been on Hydro for awhile now due to issues with my feets if that matters. And also, I've been wondering if anyone has ever had any luck ordering hydrocodone or oxycodone online? I never tire of hearing a good scam story lol, but has anyone had success (no need to tell company names!)? ## If you are running out early, you should really discuss the problem with your doctor, to see if they can adjust your dosage or dosing interval and prevent such problems. I do want to warn everyone that is taking Benzodiazepines. Xanax, Clonazepam, Klonipin, Ativan, Valium, etc.. THIS IS A PSYCHOTIC DRUG! ONLY TO BE USED FOR 2-4 WEEKS. I was put on them for yrs. I had terrible anxiety... the more anxiety I had, the more the doctor was upping my dose! It was the Clonazepam causing it. I went to a detox, they cold turkey'd me ~ TAPER SLOWLY. You will have the worst withdrawals and they are not like an opioid withdrawal! it takes weeks to over a year to go through the withdrawals. Trust Me I was a victim of such. READ UP ON THEM. I have been in pain management for years, lost my doctor along with other patients, and primary won't fill or says she can't and messes up my progress to get in new pain management in time. Now I'm losing Soma, was 3 times a day, now I have 7 tabs left. Was on 45 mg of morphine 3 times, oxycodone 15s and xanax 5 mg 3 times a day. Which she said she can not write for. My pain Mgmt. doc. stopped giving me dilaudid 2mg, 5 times a day and fioricet 2 times a day as my urine always came back negative. I was on 120 mg of methadone for 8 years straight with no relapse, so I decided to quit it. I got down to 110mg and had the weekend take home so i have been taking half of a half of 5mg and now I'm out. That was 1 week ago and yesterday when i ran out of the 5 mg I started to feel sick. I don't want to go on suboxone or subutex. I was told a doctor could prescribe Adderall for focus and Xanax for stress but I can't seem to find a doctor who will help. Omg I'm f***n miserable! I didn't think I would have withdrawals this bad after only a month and a half of taking thus drug everyday. It's literally comparable to a milder xanax withdrawal. Yes, I did abuse it. I would take 3 0.1 mgs 2-3 times a day. Tolerance goes up extra quick with this drug. I have none left and I'm on my 3rd day of feeling like s***. I am wanting to taper off safely from using 6mg of xanax bars a day. I am addicted and went through the worse withdrawals when I couldn't find my last 9 left in my bottle as well as my bottle missing. How should someone wean himself off Xanax XR 1 mg per day if he has been on it for one month for anxiety? ## I would say taking 0.5mg once a day and 0.25mg once a day for a week, then reduce to 0.25 twice a day for a week and finally 0.25mg once a day for a week. So I got some of these Xanax. Where I'm from we call them footballs. I recently started taking hydrocodone and now have been having withdrawals without them. Do you think these footballs will help me quit hydrocodone? I've never had withdrawals from Xanax in all my years of taking them. Hi everyone. I have GAD...car rides are a nightmare for me. We are traveling to NY and my husband is driving and I am really nervous. I have some Xanax .25 mg the doctor prescribed me last month. I took half the pill today to see how I feel before I take one for the ride and it was alright. I plan on taking .25 tomorrow night for the ride and then another one in a week for the ride home. Xanax is a life saver! I've always had social anxiety and trouble speaking in groups of people, now i have no problem! This tablet is manufactured by InvaGen Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 40mgs of Citalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. It can also help some people with anxiety. I doubt, however, that it will help much with Xanax withdrawals and, when stopping it, you have to be careful not to stop cold turkey, if you've been taking it for a long time, because that can create the risk of seizures.

I was prescribed 2mg of xanax 3 Times a day for years. PLEASE be careful when taking this medication. I was not told this, but the first time i went 24 hours without xanax, i had a grand maul seizure, and 2 more times without xanac. I finally had a dr switch me to valium ant weaned off of benzos completely. Unfortunately, because of the seizure activity i already had, i am now epileptic. I've had 3 more grand maul seizures without being on benzos at all. They did a ct scan and i have nothing causing them, so xanax has caused me to become epileptic. I have been taking Xanax off and on for about 7 months and lately I have only been taking .25 mg like twice a week. the only thing u could do to get ur benzos early would be to "switch benzos", bc he can't legally write u a script for the same thing 5 days early. I'd go to your doctor and tell him xanax is starting to scare you bc at Times it doesn't seem to be working as well so you've been having to take an extra here and there and now it's leaving you short at the end of the month...So you think it'd be best if you switch to something different like valium (stays in ur body the longest & u won't get withdrawals for 3-5days w/out it), OR klonipin (stays in ur body longer then xanax). This is not xanax, it is just a regular anti depressant which will not take care of your xanax withdrawal. And yes, the feelings you are having is detox ... it's the same way I feel when I don't have my xanax. The detox symptoms can last for months to years, if you don't believe me look it up. ## I didn't see anyone mention that this was supposed to be Xanax? You're right though, it's not.
