I took 10 4 milligram bars and have a drug test in 4 days. My question is, can I beat it if I run a lot and drink tons of water and juice? I have been taking 4-7mg of Xanax almost daily for the past month or so. Been through Ambien, Lexapro (which I hated and stopped taking after two weeks). Xanax is the one thing I have found that helps with the nights where I get anxiety and can't sleep. It just so happens that during this time I have contracted some sort of mild urinary infection, so at my appointment today my doctor had me do a urine test, as I was expecting. Before going in I drank an iced cup full or cranberry juice, took a multivitamin, 3-5 cups of water, a red bull, and a whole gatorade. When I pissed, my urine was more or less completely clear. I took 0.5 mg of xanax on Nov. 30th and had a drug test Dec. 26. I generally have a pretty slow metabolism. I will find out my results in a couple of days, but for some reason am nervous it'll show positive. Xanax is one of the shortest acting bezos there is, if not the shortest. So please stop saying its in your system for more then a week; it is highly unlikely it would show up after a week. Other bezos; like valium, yes, it can show up for weeks, or month if you are a chronic user. So dont look at a chart and say oh benzos are detectable for 1-6 weeks; It makes a difference on what you take; xanax should be out fairly quick; in my experience, I would like to give it a week; but I have passed in the 48-72hr range; just don't push it. ## Standard scientific testing shows that all Benzodiazepines can be detected in urine tests for as long as 6 weeks, after last use. Hello All! To give comment about the original question(How long does xanax stay in urine) I would like to give a personal experience. I took 1 mg of xanax on 3/12/11 and 1mg on 3/13/11. I dont use xanax a lot and prior to taking the pills I was last year. I had a urine drug test on 3/25/11. Approximately 12 days. REsults came to day and it was negative.Yay!!! My drug screening was from Quest Diagnostics and its pretty detailed because it was ordered from the Proffesional Board of Illinois ( Registered Nurse.) Hope this helps someone. Hey every one I've been on paroll for a couple of years now. I have been going crazy worrying about my drug test for days now. I took 2 bars of xanax throughout a span of for days, Sunday being the last day. I found out that I have to take a drug test for school and have it submitted to them by June 24th. The last day that I took xanax was May 25th. I am freaking out. I took my daily dose of xanax and 30 mg of vyvanse then decided to go over to a friend's house. We were playing Madden. I asked him for a drink. He had what I thought was blue powerade in his fridge. I downed it and within like 15 minutes I was all messed up. I took 1mg xanax, the white oval one last night. I took it about 12:30am. I had to do a urine lab test this morning. I ate canned ham mixed with Mayo with bread and cheese covered freedos with a mountain dew and salt water taffy prier. I am 123 pounds. The test was at 7:30am. What is the amount of time it takes to leave my system? Usually they breathalyzer test me. Sometimes I take 3 or 4 one day and then the next few days I may not take any at all.
