A friend gave me these to help me fly but I found that 1 isn't strong enough . Can I take 2 at a time ? ## Hello, JJ! How are you? I was prescribe alprazolam 1mg, by my doctor. I always been taking 0.5 mg peach pill made by Sandoz, always feel good on them. I moved and doctor was over hour away, he advise me to split the pill in half to make it 0.5 mg, this way I will have supply for longer period of time. Also I change pharmacy, when I fill my prescription, I recived blue pills made by Dava, I was splitting them up to 2016, I feel good on them to some time, and after few months they start to have wierd effect on me, I was more deppresed, start having some difficulty breathing, anxiety, panick attacks, I stop sleeping at night, they did help little but not much any more, and now I run from them, and have to find new doctor in town. I know that they both are .5mg alprazolam but I was just curious if there is any difference between the two. I am used to taking the peach .5mg with 029 on one side and R on the other side. 106 S ## You are reading it upside down. It is S 901 not 106 S. It's a .5 mg generic Xanax. I have been given yellow alprazolam oval shaped and on one side reading 106S and the other side says nothing; I have taken Geneva GG257 peach color for years and they helped; the yellow ones do absolutely nothing; the label says Geneva on it; I cannot find any information other than Dava makes a pill that says 106 on one side and there is an S on the other. I have used the same drug store for 50 years and I am not confrontational but I have taken alprazolam for 34 years and I know these yellow pills are not the same. The pill is oval, white in color. One side is blank, the other is scored in half with what looks like an S on one side and 106 on the other. I'm thinking it's a generic Xanax. Walmart just changed my generic Xanax .5mg to the oval yellow S 901. They seem to be much weaker than the peach oval ones in the past. Guess it is all about cost. Dava Xanax 0.5 mg SUCKS! They're yellow ovals marked with an S and 901. They've been sued by Justice department in the past (2010) for distributing drugs that were half strength. We normally take 1.5 mg qd, but are allocated #3 tabs 0.5 mg qd. Even taking #3 we had no effect. What ever company makes oval peach coloured tabs have always been efficacious. Dava, a repackager of generics needs examination by DEA & US Attorney—they can analyze the crap we were given. ## The products I've had from Dava have been acceptable with no problems here. Is the yellow oval shaped (S 901 marked) generic Xanax a poorer quality than other generics of Xanax? I have taken the generic form for a while, but I take it very seldom (only when I'm wired at night and can't sleep) and I usually take only about 1/4 of a tablet. Last time I got a refill, the pill was a light yellow oval shaped tablet with S 901 on it. I can take a whole one of these tablets and not get the effectiveness of 1/4 of the other two generics I had previously. (One of those generics was a little round peach-colored pill, and the other was a small peach-colored oval pill.)
