When I was at my family physician yesterday, she said she may have to take me off xanax and put me on ativan because of new Indiana guidelines. She did say I could see a psychiatrist for my xanax. I explained I have been on them for over 27 years a hysterectomy take 2-.05 a day. I told her I do not abuse them etc. They are probably psychologically by now anyways. If I have to I will see a psychiatrist. We will see when I come back which is 3 months. Is there a new guideline for Indiana? I am so mad about all these new rules and regulations. I have to pay out of my pocket for my xanaxs which is over $27. A friend of mine pays over $100 for her ativan. I cannot afford this. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and can also help you treat the underlying cause of your anxiety, as opposed to just covering up the feelings and emotions with medication. This xanax came from india - It's a white pill with no marking. Are these things real? ## Hi tony, If there are no markings, the best thing I can suggest is to contact the pharmacy in India who sent you the pills (for verification). If you just feel uneasy about your purchase, you should be able to file a dispute with your debit/credit card company to help get your money back for a product that was falsely advertised by a possibly sketch company. I talked to a rep at an Indian pharmacy and he indicated that India can no longer ship many of the meds they used to. I'm not sure how to find the exact nature of the new laws in India. ## Believe it or not many Indian Drug companies are legit and do not violate U.S. Law.
