I'm currently on white Xanax bars..one says GG 2 4 9 down the bar and the other which may be generic says 1 1...meaning one half is 1 mg..the other half is 1 mg will equals 2 mg... So these are definitely 2 mg right??? They help with my anxiety and panic disorders tremendously... Does 2mg xanax come in green color? ## Well, the main issue is the colors don't actually mean anything. I've seen it listed in green, white and several other colors, as the generic, depending on which manufacturer is making it. Can you post back with the imprint from the tablet? I have been on 2mg bars 4 times daily for over 5 yrs. When taken as prescribed it is the best. I have bipolar disorder and severe anxiety. Just ask doctor first and be willing to try other benzos cause one might work better for u. ## That is a huge habit. You are hooked. I am hooked. I'm not going to judge you at all. However what happens if you run out, or the doctor moves or stop practicing. Xanax is a wonder drug, but is very hard to stop, perhaps the hardest drug? You must experience it to know how lovely Alprazolam is on the way out. Getting back to you, 8 mg a day is a lot and so many here have lost their prescriber for a variety of reasons. Good luck!

I'm on 8 mg.'s of xanax a day unfortanetly & the green bars that break into thirds is xanax (1 mg in the middle, two .5's on each side i've been told). I've gotten them many times & they're not the strongest form, that would be the round 2 mg's (white). ## What may be the strongest and most effective for you, may not necessarily be such for everyone that uses this medication. Why are you taking so much? Is your doctor aware of this? That is double the normal maximum daily dosage.

I cannot find coverage for name brand xanax and alpralazam does not work . what do I do if I cant afford brand name without coverage? ## Insurance compnies do not like to pay for brand name drug when a generic is avaiable. They most likely will make you pay for brand name, and since you have insurance the drug company will not give you a discount card either. So either get use to the generic or pay big bucks for brand name. It's just the way they work. Sad but true. ## There actually is a discount card available from the manufacturer, Pfizer, that can even be used by those that have insurance, but I am not certain how significant that savings may be. green ## There is no 4mg dosage in either the name brand Xanax or the generic Alprazolam. The highest dosage available is a 3mg time released tablet and the highest in the regular release formulation is 2mgs. You can learn more Alprazolam details here. I am prescribed 2 mg xanax 3 times a day. My question is, is there a higher mg pill out there. My Dr. said that was the highest dose but my friend said her Dr. gave her a higher dose pill than mine I'm just wondering. ## There is a time Release version of Xanax that is 3 mg but the 2 mg bar is the strongest pill. I found some 3 scored "xanax".On 1 side there is a 5 in each bar. On the other side the first square has a TV in it. 2Nd squre is blank and 3 square has either a 1003 or 100B (hard to tell). That said, it contains 15mgs of Buspirone, which is used to treat anxiety and though it is in a different class of medications, many people do think it's similar to Xanax, but it's not a benzodiazepine. I have some blue 1 mg alprazolam, generic for Xanax, pills that have the R031 on them. I would like to know if they are time release or if I took them with my regular 2 mg brand-name Xanax bars, with the Xanax on one side and the 2 on the other, if I would get the same effect or if the blue ones are time or extended release and would not work the same? ## Hello, Tom! Do 2mg round w G on one side and 2 on back extended release have a coating on it? ## This specific pill does not state that it is enteric coated. Generally, it will state this on the packaging if it is in fact coated. If it isn't coated it won't say anything. The phone number to her office is 773-752-6000. I would think someone like this should be able to prescribe you a comfortable amount to taper off with over several weeks time. None the less, if you suffer from anxiety and need a Benzodiazepine class medication (like Xanax), usually your best bet is to see a psychiatrist, rather than a regular medical doctor. Found 031/R small round blue 1mg alzopram (gen.
