Does anyone in okc, ok know a doctor who prescribes xanax, klonopin, etc. for a reasonable amount? I know of doctors, but they charge way too much! Please help!!! ## Hello, Steve! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist and none of them are going to be cheap. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, they may be able to suggest a doctor that isn't too expensive.

i have social anxiexty panic attacks ## Hi triston, If you suffer from anxiety/depression and need a Benzodiazepine class medication (like Xanax), usually your best bet is to see a psychiatrist, rather than a regular medical doctor. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and many general physicians are reluctant to prescribe controlled substances due to abuse and the heavy regulations that they have to abide by from the government. If you do opt to see a regular medical doctor, some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any given medication right off the bat. I have extreme anxiety and have been on Xanax for some time. I just moved to Charlotte and can not find a dr that will help. I have dealt with chronic stress for years. I've sought help from counseling with really no help. Years ago, doctors were a lot more willing to prescribe things like xanax, but not any more. I have noticed in the last year doctors are really trying to lower patient’s dose of alprazolam. I take 1 mg four times daily, or 4 mg a day. What is your current dosage? ## You just noticed this? My husband hung himself recently and I came home and found him in our garage and cut him down to try to save him but it was too late..we have a baby girl who was 11 months old at the time and also was home with him when he did it.
