I have had 3 epidurals, have 3 degenerating discs, have run 55 marathons, completed 5 Ironman Races. I don't smoke or drink and lead a healthy lifestyle. I won't take narcotics. I also flew for a major airlines for 32 yrs. I just learned that my medical will end in Dec. Mom is dying, etc. The only thing that works is xanax, 3 (2 mg) a day. I have had 4 pseudo seizures, from anxiety. I have a supporting husband, but am almost have too much anxiety to function. I have never had any problems with the law and have a BA and Masters degree. I am having a really hard time finding a doctor that will give me a script for xanax. I use to be able to get them from my old physician, but not anymore. This makes my life a living hell. So I figured that since I actually have a legitimate reason to be prescribed xanax that I could go see my doctor and just be honest with her and I'd get my xanax legally instead of having to go on a scavanger hunt to find real alprazolam. Recently I have been going through an extremly rough time.. very serious issues with regards to one of my children.. I am devestated.. I just learned that my old Xanax Doctor is back in practice! I still have 1500 Bars (3000 mg) left from when I saw him last. I have taken Teva brand alprazolam, 1mg, 3x's a day for years. I moved to Citrus County FL, 4 months ago, and I can't find a pharmacy that carries this, and they refuse to special order it. I am very sensitive to different medications and the other brands I've received are sub-par. Any suggestions? I suffer with chronic lower back pain and I've been dignoise with severe arthritis, bursitis, an tenditis in my hip joints. My doctor recently dismissed me from his clinic because he found THC in my system. Therefore he can no longer prescribe me narcartics. Ioooking for a Doctor in my area (Western Michigan/Newaygo county that does not have a problem with prescribing pain meds to patience who suffer with chronic pain. Help! I moved I am cold turkey with drawling off of benzodiazepines as in Xanax.. Clonopin… You know the deal. Just moved to San Diego from Jersey. Have been suffering anxiety my whole life but is unbearable since I moved. I've taken a couple Xanax in my day and honestly that's the only thing that helps. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a doctor in the San Diego area who is pretty liberal with their prescriptions who takes cash. ## All Doctors will take cash. You shouldn't have a big problem with California Doctors unlike other areas. If worse comes to worse you can slip down to Mexico and either just go to a pharmacy or see a doctor and go to a pharmacy there. I believe you are allowed to bring back up to a 90 day supply legally.
