The blue Xanax are just one mg. ## Actually, depending on the shape of the pill there are two blue Xanax pills with different dosages. The one that is Elliptical / Oval shaped is a 1mg pill, manufactured by Pfizer U.S. Pharmaceuticals Group. Found these little pale blue almost who's looking pills that are found with x on one side and 74 on the other side. THATS supposed to be extended release XANAX but I've never heard of such a thing. My doctor keeps telling me that there is no such thing as Xanax xr, but I have been on them before, so I'm confused!?! He also said that there was no such thing as Ambien xr, again have been on it before. Yes there are real yellow xanax. There are so many companies that make em now. I'd say there is a good 40 different kinds or more. They come in .25 mg .50 mg 1 mg 2 mg and even extended release 3 mg. And every company has many colors for all the sizes. The best ones are the light blue footballs that are name brand and say xanax on them, and the white square edge bars that are name brand name with xanax on them. They are round edged white bars.
