I'm trying to find out if I have a 1 milligram Xanax that has an IFA imprint on it and being oval-shaped ## What color is it? It should be Mexican Xanax but without numbers to correctly identify the pill its hard to tell ## Just wanted to add that the IFA imprint is indicative of "Investigación Farmacéutica, Mexico". Hi, I'm Joey. I've been prescribed Xanax for 7 years now, and I've had all kinds. I had yellow, green, white bars ... then my doctor switched my dose down to 1 mg and I've been on those for the last 4 years. I personally prefer the oblong G3721 Alprazolam, they're a lot better than other kinds that I have been dispensed. It just so happens that the only version my pharmacy carries are G3721. I highly recommend them over the typical bar shaped tablets. The colors don't matter, they're all the same, only thing different is the manufacturer. But you guys be careful out there. The blue Xanax are just one mg. ## Actually, depending on the shape of the pill there are two blue Xanax pills with different dosages. The one that is Elliptical / Oval shaped is a 1mg pill, manufactured by Pfizer U.S. Pharmaceuticals Group. found this in my teenage neice's room ## Sorry, if there is no imprint then it must be something over the counter. All prescription drugs in the United States are required by law to have an imprint on the tablets, so they can be identified according to drug, dosage and manufacturer. With no markings there is no way to know for sure what it is, it could be a generic for Tylenol PM, Advil PM, Aleve or anything else for that matter. ## I have located a supply of totally unmarked football shaped pills in my good friend's room; I have no knowledge of him taking any prescription meds and I would know if he were. It's been wet so the imprints are gone. It was in my nephew's room. I need know what it is. It looks just like a blue Xanax but it's a lil thicker and a tad bigger with one cut only on one side. ## If the imprints are gone due to water damage, then I'm afraid the only accurate way to identify this would be to have it's contents analyzed by a lab. We can certainly make speculations based on related pills with score lines, but all we'd be doing is taking shots in the dark with no sense of direction as to what that former imprint might've been...
