Hello!!! I took this antibiotics for a wound that was stitched of which it opened again basically they didn't stitched me professionally at the hospital,is it possible to stitched it again cz some doctors told me its not possible to do it again. ## Whether or not it is impossible depends on the wound itself, some can be, unless the edges have torn, or they are seriously infected. What antibiotic did you take and did you finish all of it? The U.S. FDA lists the typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

My wound is on my forearm & is about a 1 1/2” square. The skin is eroded and indented. Was told to use Neosphorin, keep covered & change bandages twice daily. Does this sound like good advice? ## This procedure is often advised for some types of wounds, but it depends on the severity, cause of the wound, and etc. Neosporin has been known to cause some skin reddening, rash, and itching, as side effects, in some people that use it. What has your doctor advised you to do?

I suffered 4 puncture wounds to my middle finger from being bitten by a Pit Bull a couple days ago. Since the pit was going after my beagle puppy and I knew the pit would kill him, I slipped my hand under the pit bull's collar. He pulled me onto my back and bit my hand. I was screaming, but still holding onto his collar My black lab, Lucy has never fought but she is very loyal and protective of me. Prior to this incident, the only thing she attacked because she perceived it as a threat to me, was the weed eater. But she jumped the Pit Bull and wasn't about to give up the fight till she knew I was okay. I was at the bottom of this dog pile and had no idea what kind of injuries Lucy was sustaining. Long story short, my left hand has 4 punctures and is very swollen, purplish in col...

looking for the name of an old-fashioned sulfur-based liquid for treating wounds. It is BRIGHT yellow, thick and oily. It separates into the oil and yellow part if left standing and has to be shaken well before use. Used to use it extensively for animals although it is not specifically a veterinary medicine. I bought some in a pharmacy a few years ago. It is used on any difficult to heal or infected wounds either under a dressing or just on and in the wound. It is not Betadine or any other similar modern product. This is an old product that is still available. It is a proper medical product produced by a medical company i.e. not a herbal, quack or traditional remedy. It is just an older product that isn't much used any more but still available. I'm trying to suggest it to a wildlif

Woundering lve been taking ampicilina to treat eye infefection. What is best thing l should be taking ? ## No one but you and your doctor are going to know what's best for YOU, even if that something works well for other people. Ampicilina (Ampicillin) however, is readily used for the treatment of eye infections. You'd just have to ask your doctor about the right dosage and form of ingestion (eye drops vs oral tablets) for this treatment. It can help the eye infection heal quicker than without it. It can also keep an infection away that keeps coming back. If you develop an infection in your eye or your eyes, you may also be prescribed Amoxicillin antibiotics for eyes (as a first line of treatment). It comes in the form of eye drops. I personally don't know if Amoxicillin wor...

Big wound after surgary: Sakram troma surgary for the 3rd time ## There really is no honest way to determine what drug is best for you. Doctors themselves don't even know how a specific medication is going to effect you until after you've taken it for some time and can make a proper judgement call based on how you feel or whatever side effects present themselves. Personally, I would suggest opting for whatever medication your doctor or surgeon recommends and then you can give them feedback on how it may be working for you. Often times, you can switch medications or seek out natural alternatives online if it doesn't appear to be working in your favor. I hope this advice helps!
