Without Adderall

]I have been taking abilify 5mg once a day for about 3 years for bipolar ll disorder. About 4 months ago I was prescribed adderall for ADD. I have been take about 40mg a day. Last week I went to my doctor. We decided to try and stop the abilify because I felt I no longer needed it and that the adderall would be enough to keep me functional. So I began cutting the 5mg abilify in half then I stopped takeing it completely about 2 days later I stared having shortness of breath, tightness in my chest, muscle weakness and pain(primarily in my arms, I began talking in a different voice, I was naseus, I had a horible headache, and tingeling in my fingers. when I contacted my doctor he told me to immediatly begin the abilify again. I have been prescribed Adderal EX 3;20mg a day for ADD) I also took Lortab 5-500 every 4 hours for pain, I take prozac 40 mg, bupropionHCL 300mg, levothyroxine 25 MCG, Estratest full strength. pain releiver lollipop for mouth sores, I might have also taken 2 Extra strength Excedrine. could this combo cause me to pass out and have no pupil response and extreme disorientation? ## Did this happen to you? My husband is 48 years old. He has adhd problem since he was a kid. Last 7 years his phyciatrist prescribed him Adderal 30mg which helped him a lot to focus and etc, and eventually it helped him a lot in his career. He would have never succeed in his profession without those pills. Last year he was going through mid-life crisis, his father died-he started abusing those pills. I would like some input on Adderall 20 mg Instant Release. I have been through four manufacturers. I was on Activist and lots of people did not like it, however it worked for me. It had its fault but in the end it was recalled. Sometime during that period Teva bought out Activist. Since then I haven't been able to get an instant release to work without bad side effects. Most of the post I'm reading are blasting the teva generic. I have tried core pharma's 30mg round pink tablets, and yes the ingredients are different between the two manufacturers, teva and core pharma. I've taken ADD medicine for six years and can tell you they are different. If it's hard for you to get up and get your day started try core pharma. If your up and in a slump and it's around 4pm take teva and you'll notice exactly what your supposed to notice. Teva is pure relaxation and focus where core pharma is harsh and cortisol inducing. I'm not really liking this prescription. ## I personally have suffered from severe ADHD since i was a child.. they had tried me on many different medications for it, which hadn't helped. My granddaughter takes adderall and I went to give her one today and I noticed it looked strange. Upon closer inspection I realized the capsule was empty. I looked at the rest of them and I found 5 empty capsules. What the hell!! How did this happen? One I can overlook, but 5? What am I supposed to do? I no longer have Insurance and my adderall is the most expensive medication i am on. I am on a fixed income and have to let other things go to buy my adderall. ## Have you discussed the issue with your doctor, or pharmacist to see if there is a cheaper alternative?
