I have looked everywhere for answers to my questions for the symptoms of withdrawals of Norco but haven't found what I needed. ## I recently ran out of Norco that I have been on for a year. 10/325 at 4 a day. The withdrawals were insane. I have since gotten more meds but I can't get this awful taste out of my mouth nor can I shake this weak feeling I have. Any help? ## This will probably last for about two weeks. You need to get off them their really bad, and make you feel horrible when you don't have them!

Been taking 720mg of oxy ER for 15yrs.9 80s a day Have now tapered to 120 mg over the last 8 months. Wondering where to go after 3 5mg a day. Do i go to norco? Thanks ## Hello, Dc! How are you doing? What has your doctor advised? Generally, rather than go to a different medication, they'd have you start skipping doses to eventually completely wean yourself off. For example, you'd take 3 a day one day, then 2 the next, then back to 3 and gradually start widening the gap every week or so. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Thx for idea, talked to doctor who doesn't know much about.says iam his first patient in 20...

My husband has used fentanyl patches for years for chronic pain. He's been on the lowest dosage for at least 2 years and suddenly he's having terrible withdrawals for no reason. He has been on higher dosages before and the lowest dosage is good enough for his pain. These withdrawals are a nightmare for him and me. He had withdrawals then 2 days later withdrawals again even though both times he had a fresh patch on. Does anyone know why this would happen? Does a body just decide to reject it after a length of time? The patches are fresh, he used some from this box already, so it's not the batch of patches. ## Hi I used the patch n went down did not have withdrawals he shouldn't be Id quite taking them and get to the Pharmacy good Luck ## Hi AGrandma! My husband's medication is missing he has been taking 6 to 8 20mg of norco at a time for 8 years for small fiber peripheral neuropathy. We don't know what happened to his pills. They are just gone. He is left with his Lyrics and Fentenal patch. What kind if withdrawals is he looking at suffering through? His legs are jumping and has hardly slept. Not to mention the pain. How long will it last? ## Hi angela, Sorry to hear about your husband's situation with losing his pills. I can't imagine how that might feel after being on them for 8 years and suddenly not knowing where they are... Have you checked all the random places they could end up (i.e. jacket pockets, laundry room, under the car seat, etc..)? At any rate, regarding opiate withdrawals...NIH.gov notates the follow...

Okay. I've been eating Xanax like candy since February when my dr did prescribe me 1 mg a day... But I often took more than that. I went from about 8 mg a day to 1 mg a day a few weeks ago... My withdrawal symptoms are awful, I even had a seizure 2 months ago when I tried to go cold turkey. I have excessive sweating, my forehead is on FIRE, I can't eat, I feel like I'm panicking constantly. What are my odds of dying at this point? I mean, it's been a few weeks... Wouldn't that have happened by now? I'm scared. My dr cut my 1 mg dosage completely in half to .5 mg a day... I just need some advice... I don't know what to do. ## It happened to me on 3 mg a day. I stopped cold turkey and experienced all the symptoms you mentioned and some others you didn't. I ...

How long did the withdrawal symptyoms last. ## Cymgen contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, it is an SNRI antidepressant. It could take anywhere from a few weeks to several months before things balance back out and you feel completely normal again. Learn more Cymgen details here. The worst withdrawal and rebound effects can usually be avoided by tapering it slowly, rather than abruptly discontinuing it. Are there any other questions or concerns?

Hi, I have been taking Paxil (20mg) for over a year now. The first time I noticed withdrawal symptoms was when I was unable to pick up my refill and missed 1 day of taking it. I woke up hardly able to walk because the room felt like it was spinning and I kept feeling like I was having brain seizures. About 2 hours or so after taking a pill I was feeling back to normal. Is this normal for this kind of a drug? I’m 22, still having occasional suicidal thoughts while on Paxil and am worried that I am now addicted to it. Is this drug safe? ## NO! I was on it 6 years. Paxil and Amitriptylin for sleep. I quit paxil cold turkey big mistake. tapered off over 5 months. Was still not easy. Here is my story. I've been on Ativan since December, taking it to help with chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. I was initially taking 0.50mg Ativan every six hours and was able to get off it without any withdrawal symptoms after the first two rounds. However, from the third round, things got extremely difficult. At one point, I found myself taking it twice a day, approximately every seven hours, without any issues. When the time for my chemotherapy treatment came around again, I had to increase the dosage back to 0.50mg every six hours for roughly six days. I attempted to quit cold turkey but soon realized that I was addicted— I started experiencing withdrawal symptoms like shaking, weird thoughts, strange dreams, and generally not feeling like myself. Right now, I am ...

I've been taking Axiron 2 pumps per day for 4 months now and the results have been nothing short of amazing. Much more energy and the libido of a 25 year old. Doc ordered a blood test and said T-level is "off the chart" and cut the dosage 50% last week. Now I angry all the time as well as sad, depresses and frustrated. This sucks! Anyone out there had a similar experience? ## The same thing happened to me. My first level was 238 and I'm only 36. I used two pumps of axiron every day for a month. My T level went up to 719 and I felt great. The PA told me to go down to one pump a day and 2 pumps if I felt that I needed it. Levels went down to 358 then 77. I was sent to a Urologist. I live in South Africa and started using Cymgen about 3 years ago. I was on 30mg once a day. After deciding that the medication didn't help me, I decided to quit cold turkey. The only withdrawal symptoms I experienced was the dizziness and vertigo. But it was really bad. I started taking it again after a week. I decided to research this and found that antioxidants is supposed to reduce the withdrawal. So I started taking PROCYDIN* (don't know if this is available worldwide) with the Cymgen for about 2 weeks. Then when my Cymgen was finished I continued to take the Procydin only. I must say that I am not experiencing any withdrawal symptoms at this stage. I also don't get depressed (never had suicidal thoughts - even before) Procydin contains: Grape seed extract Proanthocyani...

My husband has been on exelon patch for about three years but his alzheimers is progressing faster at this point I think moving into the severe stage.
