Need help finding a doctor that will prescribe in Minnesota. I have been dealing with chronic back pain for many years. Ruptures my L5-S1 disk and it keeps getting worse. In the past, I have been on Vicodin, percocet, etc, and my quality of life was much better. But that doctor left. Over time, pain came back more and more, exercise decreased due to pain, quality of life is low. Tired of dealing with Chiropractors and such, and docs that only say stuff like "try Advil". Need something to help with the pain, so I can exercise and get some quality of life back. I live in the Twin Cities. And the next issues is that you really aren't going to be able to see a new doctor and ask for a specific medication, because they are taught to see that as drug seeking behavior. I suffer from severe pain. I am 30 years old and I have been treated for pain and anxiety for the last 7 years. My treatment however has consisted of just vicodin or Percocet. I have scoliosis, spine is s shape, digenertive disc disease with narrowing, arthritis is my lower back and knees. Most of my pain is in my lower back but I also have undefined pain, like if I sit or stand for extended periods of time in the space between my shoulder blades and spine towards the top of my back. I have Chronic IBS and acute Chrons disease. I have been taking Vicodin to help control the bouts of diarrhea and severe abdominal pain. My concern is all that Tylenol that comes with Vicodin is damaging my liver, thus more problems. I have tried methadone and it works GREAT and 40mg lasts all day instead of a pill every 4 hrs. I moved to Grand Haven, Michigan almost a year ago. I have been on pain medicine for over 4 years due to rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and lupus. I am seeking a doctor, for one that will listen and not just try to rush through the visit. I have severe problems with my lumbar3, 4 and 5. Also have Fybromyalga and migraines. Because of the pain I am also severely depressed. It's been about 17 years that I have not had one day without pain. One of my biggest fears is having the doctor think I'm out just to seek the drugs. Hi there, I just recently moved to Vegas and am needing to find a doctor here willing to continue my current prescriptions of oxycontin 80mg 2x a day and vicodin. I've been in pain management for 2 yrs in another state and I have 5 yrs of paperwork documenting my conditions, current MRIs and x-rays, ect. I have insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield. I just moved near Augusta GA and im in desperate need of a doctor who is willing to prescribe opiate pain medicine. I was used to taking 10mg vicodin or Norco 7.5 before i moved. Since I only suffer from terrible migraines and moderate back pain the docs here only offered Tylenol 3 which isn't helping much at all so Any help would be so appreciated!

Hi, all, I just moved to Covington, KY from. Brooklyn, NY. I am taking Nucynta ER 150 mg/3 x a day, lyrica, celexa, Xanax 2 mg/3 x a day and a muscle relaxant. The main issues are the Nucynta and Xanax. I have had doctor after doctor laugh in my face when asking for this prescription. I started Xanax five years ago and Nucynta about a year ago. No one wants to prescribe Nucynta, either. I have tried Vicodin, oxy--everything. But finally found that Nucynta (a drug I paid $1500 for WITH insurance in NY) works for me.
