Will Morphine Give Me Energy

I have zero energy, but after I take my morphine subscriptions(er15mg 2 times a day, ir15mg usually 1 to 3 times daily) an hour later I get enough energy to move. I'm interested in what body process causes this and why. I have taken this 10 or more years. Thanks ## Hello, Valerie! How are you? I'm sorry, but I don't really have an explanation for you. It really just depends on your body and how it reacts to the medication. Not everyone experiences energy from it, when I was on Morphine years ago for pain management, it always did the opposite to me and I couldn't stay awake. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does m15 m blue pills cause you to have energy. Or is it like a soma just relaxes you? ## The pill you are describing is identified as Morphine sulfate extended release 15 mg. Interestingly enough, some people do get lots of energy from taking Morphine. But there are others who become more prone to its side effects, which can bring about a sense of tiredness. You may want to give it a trial run to see how well you respond to it. A list of side effects can be found here: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682133.html#side-effects Just keep in mind: the things you eat and your activity level can really impact what energy you do have and how this drug might affect it. I hope this helps to answer your question!

Does it give you energy 30mg morphine ## Not usually, Morphine is an opiate narcotic, which is essentially a downer, though there are some people that get energetic from them. Morphine has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

After 10 years of taking Hydrocodone for Chronic lower back pain, doses increasing over the years, my new PM Doctor has started me on Morphine Sulfate 15 mg ER at bed time. Also take 5 each Norco 10-325 during the day. I was taking 6 each Norco 10-325 a day, but needed/wanted 8 or 10 a day. Wishing I had a pickup truck load of Norco 10-325. Loved the stuff, but 6 a day was not easing the pain any longer. I would run out every month a week early. Normally I would take a Xanax 1 mg, sometime 2, at night and knock right to sleep. Last night was the first time I took the Morphine Sulfate 15 mg ER at bed time. I Had to take 2 each Xanax and only slept 3 or 4 hours. BTW, Norco 10-325 always gives me a buzz and energy to get up and do things. Has anyone experienced this sleep problem? Also, do...

I was given Prozac for depression by my PTP but this sent me to the ER on the 4th day. I woke up vomiting, with dizziness, my legs were so weak, I had a cold and hot rush, and the worst head ache. After fluids, morphine, labs and a CT scan I was sent home and was told I had a stomach flu (smh). My psychiatrist said it was a violent reaction to Prozac. He also said my PTP shouldn't have prescribed an anti depressant. I was very paranoid and I've had really low moods followed by extreme energy and insomnia among other things. He prescribed Abilify a few days ago. First day, I had no effects. I was on the edge, paranoid and even had a huge argument with a complete stranger. That night I couldn't sleep, I felt so anxious and my heart felt like it would beat too fast. I was panic...
