i take oxycottin 80 mgs 3 times a day i also take oxycodone 30mgs 5 times a day both prescribed by a doctor. Man the amount of people who have no clue what they are talking about yet spitting advice on it like they are an expert is bewildering. NO FENTANYL does not show up as an opiate on any test anywhere. In fact the only things that will show up as an opiate are morphine, codeine, and heroin and that is because heroin and morphine metabolize into morphine. Not even oxycodone or hydrocodone can be detected as an opiate they have to be specifically tested for as they metabolize differently, same with methadone, methadone has to be specifically tested for, it will not show up as anything but methadone. It all depends on WHAT methodology they are using and what EXPENSE they are willing to go through to detect this drug. If you end up dead or overdosed, you will probably get it now that heroin and oxycodone are being stepped on by Fentanyl. I was wearing my Fentanyl patch 100mcg on the day of the test and was changing every 48 hours and had no gaps in therapy of the patch. Was on oxycodone 10mg for breakthrough pain and neither showed up on a urine serum test. I couldn't pee at the office, so was sent to the hospital. The drugs that showed up were my anxiety meds. And it says my fentanyl and oxycodone were not. I took a tablet that morning before the office visit and was wearing my damned patch. But I got a letter telling me that I can no longer be seen at my pain mgmt office anymore and that was that. One more thing, I take for chronic pain from an accident. I just read the posting where Klonopin didn't show up in a drug test. I had the same thing happen. My dr prescribed Fentanyl Patches to me & I had a hard time getting them to stick to my skin in the hot & muggy summer weather. I did have adhesive residue all over my arms where the patches had been. My dr accused me of selling them because they didn't show up on a drug test. I had to take a saliva test the other day and am taking oxicodone xanax Nexium benicar valcor cymbalta and atorvastatin synthroid humalog lantus and a Bayer asprine. When I went back I fentanyl showed up as well 1 ng. So they cut me off right there from the top 3 medications and I wasn't even sure what fentanyl was. I screwed up after 6 months of being completely clean. I didn't take a lot just a tiny bit of fentanyl and I am wondering if I will be ok on Wednesday for a drug test for my probation officer?...I'm 5'2, maybe 110lbs. ## It's probably still detected within 3 days. I know that's probably what you don't want to hear. Whatever you do, DO NOT TRY TO MASK IT, with Golden Seal and all the others out there. They NOW have a test at the same time looking for 'masking agents'. Depending on where you live, a positive masking agent is enough for a failed drug test. Many of my friends have had that happen to them. If you have a legal prescription for it - SHOW IT BEFORE THE DRUG TEST.
