One thing is for certain though, and that is, that it's definitely NOT a legitimate "US-based" prescription drug, since the FDA requires all of these medications to have markings for determining the substance, dosage, and manufacturer. These are white, correct size,, oblong oval, and have a score in middle? ## It's not likely that Xanax would have no markings; but that would probably depend on where you obtained the pill from; if you got it outside of the U.S. or by any other means besides other than a valid prescription. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. However, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there are many, many pills on the market, both over the counter and prescription that meet that description. Has anyone seen a white 2 mg xanax with no markings at all ## Yes, I've seen a lot of them. They usually are from Mexico. They are a very decent med. so, if you or someone you know order these from a SY. Then by all means there real. Now of course you always could have fake pressed bars but usually they stamp something on them and it usually the GG249 bars. These are wide spread counterfeit meds. Hi. I have a couple of these round white tablets with a score line & no other marking on them. I was told they were xanax but im unsure; im in the united kingdom and without the markings they look like temazepam in size & color. no lettering and scored in the middle just like a normal blue football...came from friends aunts script...is it really xanax and what mlg?? ## If it has no markings on the tablet, then it IS NOT a legal U.S. prescription tablet for Xanax or anything else. The only way to know for sure what it contains would be to pay to have it lab tested. All U.S. prescription medications are required by law to have an imprint that enables their identification. I got my refill for xanax, they are white & blank with no imprint. Are they bad to take? Or are they the same? I have a small, round, white pill scored in center and has Mylan 457 on it. This xanax came from india - It's a white pill with no marking. Are these things real? ## Hi tony, If there are no markings, the best thing I can suggest is to contact the pharmacy in India who sent you the pills (for verification). If you just feel uneasy about your purchase, you should be able to file a dispute with your debit/credit card company to help get your money back for a product that was falsely advertised by a possibly sketch company. I was given a white pill, round, no markings on it at all. Has 2 scores to break into quarters. Supposedly it was given as a 4mg Xanax. There are no 4mg Xanax that I know of? ## I found the exact same pills and cannot find out what it is anywhere!

No idea. ## @Danny, I know most legitimate prescription and over the counter meds are required by law to have letters, numbers, and/or symbols that are indicative of the manufacturer, substance, and dosage. So based on your description, these do come across to me as being some sort of foreign or counterfeit version of a Buspar or Xanax tablet. However, without having any verifiable markings outside of the three lines, you'd probably have to have it analyzed by a lab in order to know for certain.
