Found a very large oblong pill with a 120 imprint on what seems like the right half and nothing but a scored line on the other side ## Hello, Kim! How are you? It's difficult to determine what this might be with any certainly, since we only have half of the imprint. However, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet?

Is this Sulfamethoxazole? Generic for Bactrim ## Yes, this tablet contains 800mgs of Sulfamethoxazole and 160mgs of Trimethoprim, the active ingredients in Bactrim, which is an antibiotic. You can learn more Bactrim details here. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, if you develop hives, please contact your doctor immediately as that could be the sign of a dangerous allergic reaction. does this pill require a prescription? ## Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be Ibuprofen (800 mg). Low doses of ibuprofen (200 mg, and sometimes 400 mg) are available over the counter (OTC) in most countries. Generally, the oral dose is 200 to 400 mg (510 mg/kg in children) every 46 hours, adding up to a usual daily dose of 800 to 1,200 mg. 1,200 mg is considered the maximum daily dose for over-the-counter use, though under medical direction, the maximum amount of ibuprofen for adults is 800 milligrams per dose or 3200 mg per day (4 maximum doses). For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you.

Believe it may be 20mg prednisolone for a dog ## Hi Patrick, Are there any other imprints on your pill that may have been faded or are difficult to make out? I only ask because based on the description provided, the closest match I could find was a white oval shaped pill marked with "GF P120" and a score line. This particular tablet is an OTC cold remedy containing 600mgs of Guaifenesin + 120mgs of Pseudoephedrine. Another similar match that comes up is a round white pill marked with "P120" and nothing else. Although this one is a 325mg Aspirin tablet. Just out of curiosity, what information leads you to believe that it may contain 20mgs of prednisolone? I'm not seeing any specific details online relating to that, and also wonder if it might be something that's n...

Wondering if anyone has any idea what type of medication this is? ## Hello, The closest match I could find has the imprint 013 on a white oval shaped pill; which has been identified as Loratadine-D 12 hour (5mg/120 mg). This is an antihistamine drug primarily used in the treatment of hay fever. NOTE: I could not find a photo of the pill, so at this time there's nothing to determine whether or not the lettering was black on this oval pill. Manufacturer: Perrigo (formerly Clay-Park Laboratories Inc) Do you ever recall using an antihistamine-type medication?

Is it safe to take Ciprofloxacin pills white oblong VP 120 in combination with adder all 30mg tablets? also, the Ciprofloxacin expired in 2008. ## The tablets with this marking aren't listed as being Coprofloxacin. They are listed as being a different type of antibiotic that is sold under the name brand Bactrim, which contains the active ingredients Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim. It does not get dangerous, past the expiration date, but it does lose effectiveness, which ups the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. I am not finding an interactions listed between it and Adderall, but you should really consult a doctor, or pharmacist to be certain and to get a more recent prescription of an antibiotic, if you need it. Is there anything else I can help with?

The other side has “xenuciM” printed on it. It seems like Mucinex backwards and spelled wrong. Are there fake Mucinex pills? ## I can't imagine why anyone would try to counterfeit a cheap over-the-counter expectorant such as Mucinex, with very little if any financial incentive. Whereabouts did you get this pill from? Was it found within an existing batch? If so, I wonder if it could simply be an imprint error from the manufacturer... If it were me, I'd probably take it into a local pharmacy for a second opinion because that's definitely not normal. On the other hand, where or how you acquired it could also speak for itself. Please post back if you happen to have any more information.

I found a white round pill that is slightly broken it has a /p\ on top and under is what looks to have three numbers but the only ones I am able to read is 12 I was thinking possibly being generic Percocet but it is not scored? ## Based on the description provided, the /p\ sounds just like the Advanced Pharma logo. However from what I could gather, the closest match I'm finding on Google is a scored, white oblong shaped pill, marked with "VP 120". These are identified as Sulfamethoxazole (800mg) + Trimethoprim (160mg) Double Strength tablets. You may just want to go ahead and contact Advanced Pharma directly regarding this inquiry, as I believe it is most likely one of their own.
