Need help identifying a small round white pill. Front of pill is scored in the center with and imprint of an odd shaped E on top and 50 beneath, back of pill is blank. I think it is a painkiller of some sort. Can anyone confirm what this pill is? And if it is a painkiller what is it most comparable to in sense of strength? NDC: 42806-0050 This is a mild opiate narcotic, most commonly known under the brand name Demerol, so strength wise, I'd compare it to a low dose Codeine. Plz help what is this??? ## Hi Rae, Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is a round white pill marked with "G" over "421" on one side, and blank on the other. There is also a horizontal score line on the side with the markings. This particular pill is identified as a 2.5mg Midodrine HCl tablet; which is used to treat hypotension. If there is in fact a "C" on your pill as well, then I'm not sure what it might be... but if you could please double check the imprint that would be great. NOTE: the size of the pill is also supposed to be approximately 7.00 mm I hope this info helps!

I've found a white oblong pill with rounded ends. It's embossed with "L404" on one side, while the other side is plain. Thank you in advance for any help identifying it. ## I think that the imprint being reported is actually L484 instead of L404. Is it possible that the '8' is just worn down? barr on one side, 420 on the other side. Forgot what it is, not in original container. ## @Tadeus, I've yet to find a specific match to this pill, but I do have a feeling that its manufacturer is Barr (Teva) Pharmaceuticals USA. I would recommend contacting them directly for more information and to at least verify that it's something they actually make. There are other pills with similar imprints that come up under Barr (Teva) Pharma, so I think that may be our best clue to narrowing down some possibilities. You can reach Teva's Customer Service department via phone or email at: 1-888-838-2872 [email protected] I hope this helps! Please do post back if you here anything from them.

Does a white tablet with V 4212 have hydrocodone in it? Can I see images for all vicodin pills to make sure? ## It would be impossible to show you images of all of them, there are many manufacturers that make this in both namebrand and generic forms, and all will look different and have different imprints depending on the manufacturer and strength of the pill. V4212 is not Vicodin at all!! Just because it has the V on it, does not mean it is Vicodin, that is just the logo for Vintage/Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. Want to know what pill is white round with P on one side and 425 on the other ## The closest match I've been able to locate has the imprint "PE 425" rather than "P 425". This pill is also white, but it doesn't specify its shape. The pill I just described is identified as Durahist PE; which is used in the treatment of nasal congestion and rhinitis. Durahist PE contains the following active ingredients: Chlorpheniramine (8mg) + Methscopolamine (1.25 mg) + Phenylephrine (20 mg) The manufacturer of this specific pill is ProEthic Laboratories LLC. If this does not match your pill, is there any possibility that the marking has simply been misread? If not, hopefully you can use this information help narrow down your search.

My prescription drug was changed from phenytoin with the purple band to phenytoin plain white with the number 420 printed twice on the capsule; I was told it was fine to take same formula and different manufacturer but when I asked if the fillers were the same the pharmacist stumbled and then said it is ok. Since the medicine was changed without my knowledge or permission by somebody (nobody in the Dr.s office knows how this happened) I am wondering about it. Of course I will ask the doctor again ( I spoke to the nurse before) when I see him - he doesn't take phone calls), but I would like to know something before then. ## Well, first no pharmacy is in any way obligated to always provide you with the product manufactured by any particular company that you have been getting. Is the RP 10 325 pill comprised of layers on the RP side that start to peel off? The other side is fine and not peeling. ## Have you tried contacting the manufacturer (Rhodes Pharmaceuticals) about this? Just for verification, the imprint implies that it's a generic Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg) tablet, with a National Drug Code of 42858-104. Unfortauntely, my findings only go so far as mentioning the list of inactive ingredients: Silicon Dioxide Magnesium Stearate Povidone K30 Crospovidone Corn Starch Stearic Acid Water However you can also view a photograph of it at: rhodespharma.com/products Judging from the image therein I'd speculate that it has some sort of coating with a mild glossy or matte finish.
