I found four small square pills with A on one side nothing on the other side. They are NOT Altoids. I tasted them and they taste horrible just like a medication would although I do not think these are legal meds. I think it is a street drug. I found them in my son's room in a little bag. Typically on the reverse side of the square pill, it will have a number, either 10 or 50 (which represent mg's). ## That is correct, they are anabolic steroids, which have been banned in the U.S. except for in certain rare medical instances. This company manufactures several, but there's really no specific way to tell them apart, because they are all the same shape, use the BP marking and the dosage on the opposite side. Some may be different colors, but that's about as precise as it gets. They are said to be produced by "Balco Pharm". This is the same company that was involved in all of the Major League Baseball scandals. I would just keep in mind that pill forms of steroids are heavily regarded as being toxic to the liver, so taking more than a few a week may cause damage. I believe that what you've found is an Altoid Small. It's a type of mint and the smalls are all square with the A on them. They're quite potent and may burn your mouth, or cause nausea in some people.
