I was given a RX for a mild sleeping pill Trazodone 50 MG. I have tried taking one as prescribed occassionally and it keeps me up all night. Then the next day I feel fatigued and have a headache. They are white round pills with a line down the center on one side and tthe other side has letters PLIVA AND THE #433 ON THE SIDE. Couldn't find it in the PDR. ## The tablet marked PLIVA 433 does contain 50mgs of Trazodone, however, it is not actually a sleeping pill. Trazodone is an SARI antidepressant, which can cause some drowsiness as a side effect, but it will not actually work like regular sleeping pills. Is this codeine. My uncle gave me a couple. Says it's "like" perocet But I'm not easily convinced. Right now I'm suffering from a toothache and it's 11pm. I am about to take it regardless of whether I know that it's something for pain. Can you please verify that in the middle the small pill in the middle is codeine (?) I had trouble staying awake all day and had some nausea. Can I cut the pill into quarters? ## I take 100 mg of primidone nightly to control essential tremors.
