Small Round White Pill With 40 On One Side

The side that doesn't have 40 on it has a line down the middle but i can't read what it has going around the pill ## The closest match I could find shows that the pill is identified as Furosemide (40 mg). However the markings you are unable to read can significantly change what this pill could be. On this specific pill I located, the number 40 is on one side; and on the other side there is a score line across the middle, with the words 'Mylan' on the top half of the line and the numbers '216' on the bottom half. Does this sound or look familiar based on what you can see? Until we can figure out what the other side says, it is going to be difficult to determine what this tablet contains, unless you would pay to have it lab tested, somewhere... ## Its a _____ and I... ...

My pharmacist changed my rx to this when I picked it up a few weeks ago. I just looked up the numbers MX33 tonight. I thought I have been going crazy. 100% NOT effective. found a small white tablet blank on obe side and a number 2 on the other, what is this? ## I'm pretty sure these are perphenazine 2mg, I have a small sum of the same pills, they are an antipsychotic medication used for bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia/schizo-effective disorders. Some doctors (like the i****s that prescribe seraquil for sleep) will prescribe this as a sleep aid as well..I hope this helps, I'm trying to make 100% sure they are perphenazine myself (friend gave them to me 'cause my psychiatrist "forgot" to refill me) but I'm almost positive, he takes the same as I (400mg seraquil and 2mg perphenazine). There is a half moon looking marking on one side, and the numbers 635 on the other side - the pill is yellowish white. ## The closest thing which I have found so far (based on the "half moon looking mark") is Lovastatin 40 mg, manufactured by Actavis. Their pill is described as "yellow, round, flat-faced, beveled edge tablet ... Actavis logo on one side; 635 on the other side" [1].
