small round white tablet with line down the centre with a possible letter B in the middle ## What do you mean by possible letter B? Is it a B or is it hard to make out? there are several white pills with a B on them, mostly over the counter items, so I cannot guess what this is, without being certain of the imprint. No additional markings on the flip side.. just a criss cross imprint. ## It sounds like one of the pain meds that I currently take. Its a form of oxicodone. You may want to check in a current PDR. If you don't have one try and go on line and see if you can find an online version. The PDR stands for Physicians Desk Reference. It has pictures and information about that drug. white round pill letter N 25 on the front and 3 line on the back ## Hi Karen, The pill you are describing is a 25mg Ephedrine + 200 mg Guaifenesin tablet, made by PDK Labs. The brand name for this pill is "Two-Way MaxBrand". These do have cross scores on the back. Ephedrine is commonly used as a stimulant, appetite suppressant, concentration aid, decongestant, and to treat hypotension associated with anaesthesia. Guaifenesin is used to relieve chest congestion. An interesting combination of medications in my opinion, but it is what it is. :) For more information about these drugs, please refer to the links below... I hope this helps!

found this pill and want to know what my son is taking and what it is for ## There are no listings for anything matching this description in any of our U.S. prescription drug resources. Have you tried asking your son about it? That type of marking, with no other letters or numbers leads me to suspect that it is something available over the counter. Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## If the pill is a little white pill with UL on one side and III (3 lines on the other side) it is Bisoprolol-HCTZ 10-6.25 MG tablet and generally used for Blood pressure control

Found these pills and package says they are from the phillipines. ## Hi Robyn, Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm seeing online is a white round pill imprinted with "A|B" on one side and "CG" on the other. I don't know if this is what yours may be like as well, but this particular tablet is identified as 10mgs of Ritalin (Methylphenidate), for treating ADHD & narcolepsy. The manufacturer is reported to be Novartis (which doesn't appear to be a US-based company). Are the letters on your tablet also split between a score line?

white small round tablet with the letter G indented and a break line on other side of tablet ## There are two possible ID's I found for this pill based on the comments of other individuals trying to identify this same tablet. Neither of them are definitive matches, but depending on your possible reasoning for having the pill, you may be able to determine which ID more accurately fits. The first possible match is Glyburide (1.5 mg); used to treat diabetes. The other possible match was suggested by someone to be a veterinary drug, as they found it in a box of their dog's meds, but, reluctantly have never found out for sure what it may be. Do either of these appear to be a viable option based on your own experience or medical history? I hope this helps!

Small Round White pill. side A: either M/M or W/W. with a bold arrow or V on back side ## Hi adrianna, From what I've read, the pill you have may be Metformin (500 mg). However I am having a hard time finding pertinent information to back up the claims. Based on the logo, this pill is very likely manufactured by Cobalt pharmaceuticals in Canada. If you google "Cobalt pharmaceuticals logo" you should be able to confirm that. Just in case the pill you have is Metformin, I'll provide some information about the medication below: Metformin is an oral antidiabetic drug in the biguanide class. It is the first-line drug of choice for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, in particular, in overweight and obese people and those with normal kidney function. Its use in gestational diabe...

white pills with DB on one side nothing on the other side, easily broken in two ## Hi Sammy, Is there any chance that the letters could be "DP" instead of DB? And are they inside of a hexagon? If so, the round white pill you're describing is reported to be a birth control tablet by the name of Yasmin (drospirenone + ethinyl estradiol). However I noticed you also mentioned that it is easily broken in two... Does this mean that there may be a score line as well? Thanks for any additional info you can provide!

i had some melatonin pills in a bottle someone gave me. they're white, round, and blank. but also in the bottle were smaller thick white and off white colored pills with one side blank and the other just has a line across the center of it. no clue what the pill is. my friend said she doesnt know either. very strange! anybody have any ideas?? ## Hello, Since the pills you have don't have any markings, it most likely is an OTC or foreign medication. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. It could also be a different form of melatonin from a different manufacturer. I've seen melatonin...
