Which one only has one blocker and which has two blockers (Subutex / Suboxone)? ## @big k, You might be thinking of Subutex, which only has one blocker (Buprenorphine). But just to confirm, a white round pill imprinted with 155 on one side and half moon on the other, is identified as generic "Suboxone"; containing Buprenorphine hydrochloride 8 mg (base) + Naloxone hydrochloride 2 mg (base). why are the white suboxone white round pills with 155 on them not as good as the orange pills or the suboxone film that's what im on the white ones and they don't seem to work like the others?? ## @paper rose, One thing to take into account upon comparing this particular tablet with other manufacturers, is that each pill is probably going to contain a different set of inactive ingredients. The binders/fillers found in this white round pill (marked with "155" on one side and a half moon logo on the other) are reported to be: citric acid anhydrous + corn starch + crospovidone + lactose monohydrate + mannitol + magnesium stearate + povidone + sodium citrate + sucralose I would try seeing what substances are being used in the composition of these other brands you've trie...

Can this generic form of Suboxone be split into 4 doses and still be somewhat effective in helping me with all my withdrawal symptoms? (Which are pretty awful) ## Hello, Dianna! How are you? It would be best to take it as prescribed by your doctor to avoid the withdrawals. Taking lower doses won't really help much and isn't going to prevent the cravings associated with addiction. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is it best to take the generic suboxone with 155 and a half moon on it. Yes, they contain 8mgs of Buprenorphine and 2mgs of Naloxone, the active ingredients in Suboxone, which is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. They can help with pain, but should not be taken if you aren't tolerant to narcotics or if you've taken any other narcotics recently, because the Naloxone in them could throw you into dangerous withdrawals. Its a generic suboxone best taken sublingualy (let dissolve under tounge) in my opinion its not as potent as the generic subutex that im prescribed but on the plus side its not as easy to abuse. If anyone knows if this is more affordable than the Gen subutex (8mg str8 buprenorphine) please reply .. I like it because it stops the cravings better n doesn't make me as sleepy.. ## is it true the round white pill with half moon and 155 is gen. suboxone? ## @Joe420, Prices for each medication are going to be different at each and every pharmacy location worldwide. However generics are already much cheaper than brand name suboxone/subutex. From what I understand, it's supposed to work best when taken sublingually; where all you have to do is let it fully dissolve under your tongue in order for your body to absorb it. It would be a good idea to contact your Dr. though if you have any other questions related to how much you should take. I hope this helps! ## Dear Destiny, David is correct.
