white round pill Y RZ 5

Small white round pill with capital Y in first line, then capital RZ then number 5, no score, nothing on reverse. I have searched all pill ID sites with no results. Thank you! ## Hi Alk, I've searched high and low for a match to this and the closest piece of information I found was that Apotex Pharmaceuticals is a manufacturer known for having "RZ" on their pills followed by a number. However - a lot of the one's I've seen online also have "APO" written on the front. Part of me just wonders if this company makes (or used to make) a pill that fits your description as well, since the imprint is strikingly similar. Their customer service department can be reached at: 1-800-706-5575 (Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm ET). I hope this helps! Does anyone else r... ...

These pills are fairly big and are not coated. They are white, round, and one side has an X and the other side has a 70. Could this be alprazolam 0.5 mg extended release?? I have never seen alprazolam that looks like this & am having a hard time trying to find a picture or any article to confirm that is what they are. Your speedy responses are greatly appreciated. Thank you. ## Hello, Alice! How are you? Yes, these tablets are manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma and they list them as containing 0.5mgs of Alprazolam in an extended release formulation, so they are a generic for Xanax. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
