With no score on it. ## This tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine, in a sublingual formulation, it is a generic for Subutex, which is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. I am 100% sure they are 8 mg subutex. I am prescribed these monthly. It's a generic version. My bottles say buprenorphine 8mg sl tabs. Underneath (substitute for subutex 8mg sl tab). ## Hello, The pill in description is indeed Buprenorphine hydrochloride (subutex) 8 mg. It is a semi-synthetic opioid that is used to treat opioid addiction in higher dosages (>2mg) and to control moderate pain in non-opioid tolerant individuals in lower dosages. Manufacturer: Ethypharm (Distr. Hi-Tech Pharmaceutical) I hope this helps!

round white pill 54 411 on one side and the other blank ## its an 8mg generic subutex, same as suboxone ## This is a Generic Subutex OPIOD pill used to treat opiod dependence as in heroin addicts, etc. Sort of like Methadone. These pills are very very new as generics and hard to find, they were released by roxane pharmacuticals on october 9th of 2009. They are made with Talc (non-biodegradeable) instead of the non generic originals which are made with the better ingredient corn starch! ## Thank you for providing that information, these do seem to be very new, as I can't find a listing for this marking anywhere. While Buprenorphine is most commonly used to treat addiction, it can also be used to treat some cases of severe pain, in which other medications have stopped helping or faile...

How do u take a subutex? Is it the same as taking as taking a suboxone? ## This is an 8mg sublingual tablet and yes, they are used in very similar ways to treat the same things, except Subutex eliminates the Naloxone that can throw someone into withdrawals from taking it too soon. Learn more Subutex details here. Since it is also an opiate narcotic, it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Are there any other questions or comments? Does anyone else have any advice to add? ## Hi katiy, I haven't found any prescribing information, but a recent review from another Subutex user was stating that "the pamphlet says to just let the tablet dissolve under your tongue, and to not swallow the table...

Trying to identify an orange, round pill with DRA on one side and a single scored line on the other. Thought they were subutex but can not confirm. Typical searches return Dramamine but when you look closer, it lists the color as white. Also, Dramamine spells it out as the imprint vs DRA. I have seen it listed as subutex 8mg once. Tried to ask a pharmacist, he couldn't identify it either. Please help - I need to know what this is I found in my sons room. ## My research also yields Dramamine (25mg) as a result with an imprint of "DRA" under the following National Drug Code of 63029-904, except the white color and second score line don't match up as you already pointed out. I see that Subutex is listed as a suspect in another related discussion thread here, but the post (#...

Need to find a similar pill to a 8mg subutex with imprint. 54 411 ## Unfortunately there aren't any pills with the same imprint and/or color, since this is what makes these 8mg Subutex tablets unique amongst other pills on the market. I don't know why anyone would even need a fake replacement for it, but I hope for whoever's sake that it's for the right reasons. The closest match I was able to find is a white round pill marked "54 755", however this also happens to be generic Subutex. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Buprenorphine Details May I ask what you plan on using the replacement for? ## Yes they make generic Tylenol from the dollar store that looks just like subutex but the rylenol pills are a little more hard than the texs ## Wat is the...

My friend takes 8mg subutex and when he picked up his script today, they weren't the usual white tablet. They were white and the size of a 2mg subutex with an 8 on one side and an arrow on the other. Could his pharmacist have made a big mistake or are these just a different brand?? ## From what I can tell these tablets do contain 8mgs of Buprenorphine, the active ingredient in Subutex. They were originally released in the U.k. and then became available in the U.S. when the generic market for the medication opened up here. So yes, just a different manufacturer, they are made by Arrow, which explains the logo on the tablet, they use that on all of their products. Are there any questions or comments? ## Thank you so much! I actually did some research on Arrow Generics and saw that they...

Very trustworthy friend said 8mg subutex white round cherry flavored anyone heard of this? ## No, I just double checked and even the sublingual tablets, both the name brand Subutex and the generic all have markings on them, as required by law in the U.S. This law was put into place by the FDA many years ago for several different reasons. One is that if there is a problem with a certain medication, such as its found to be tainted with something, or to not contain any of the active ingredient, there needed to be some way to trace it back to the manufacturer that made it. And the other issue is that if someone is found unconscious with an unlabeled bottle of pills beside them, emergency personnel need a way to discover what the pills are, so they can provide proper treatment. Thus, prescri...

Hey... I just got a suboxone and by the markings it is supposed to be an 8/2 mg suboxone, but there was no image available on the internet. It has an N 8 on the front... and an arrow in the back. I've seen this question already asked a few times, but I got confused by your answers. Thanks. ## Mike, If it's a 8 and arrow on reverse its subutex 8mg. If not the possibilities are endless. If you received these from a legit source it should come with product insert information. If not I wouldn't risk taking something that can cause severe withdrawals if not taken as prescribed. Good luck ## The tablet with the N8 on, with the logo on the opposite is an 8/2mg Suboxone tablet.
