It is an antihistamine, but is typically used for nausea or severe allergy problem. Nothing on back. ## Found In House, don't know what it is. ## it may be aldactone, i also have GG over a scored white pill with 85 on the bottom, i picked them up at a different pharmacy and put them in the same bottle as my aldactone [which says it all to me] ## Whims is correct, this tablet contains 25mgs of Spironolactone, a generic for Aldactone. small white pill with gg223 ## Hi Roger, Unfortunately the imprint GG 225 is the closest match I could locate to GG 223. This is a small white round pill just as described. It also has a score line in the center of the pill that separates GG and 225, while it remains blank on the other side. That is the closest I can find. It is now manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 25mgs of Promethazine, which is most commonly used to treat, or prevent nausea, and vomiting. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, and headache. Can you please double check the imprint and post back?
