I thought it looked odd, so I googled it and was surprised to not find any info except for this thread. Did you have any problems? ## I have started gaining weight since I received. small white pill with Ah on one side and 71 on the other ## What is this pill and what are its uses? What are its effects when mixed with alcohol? ## The tablet with the AN 71 marking contains 25mgs of Hydroxyzine, which is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergic reactions, nausea and for its sedative like effects. And mixing it with alcohol may heighten the side effects, especially the sedation, so you may experience more dizziness and drowsiness than usual. Learn more Hydroxyzine details here. I have half a pill, I know Ive taken the other half in the past but don't remember what it is. What I can see (now keep in mind its only half a pill) R on one side and 3 on the other, Not sure of what else would have been written on the pill... Any ideas? ## I'm finding way too many different variations of numbers and possibilities when I research white oval pills, with an R on one side and a 3 on the other. Do you know whether or not the pill has a score line, or even perhaps some measurements (in millimeters) of the half pill, to help get a better idea of its actual size in relation to other white oval pills? A few of the imprints I came across for white oval pills are: RDY 293 RX 713 RUGBY 39 14 R 316 I hope this helps! Does anyone else have an idea of what this could be?

i take methadone 10 mg ,for pain but have noticed a difference between the round and oblong ones the round ones make me very tired ,ne1 no wat pharmacies carry the oblong ones? ## There can be difference in generic drugs, they are allowed to differ in the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%, because the FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window. If they are making you tired, then that probably means you are experiencing more side effects, so they are a little stronger than what you are used to taking. As to what pharmacies carry the different ones, can you post back with more details, such as the markings on the ones you are looking for or the manufacturer, as well as your general location? Otherwise, people can only try and guess these details. You'll get m...

My pharmacist changed manufacturers and this is what I was given for my percocet 10/325. Can anyone help verify if this is the correct medicine? ## @BamBam, A white oblong pill imprinted with I 71 is reportedly identified as Bupropion HCL extended-release (300 mg), which is an antidepressant medication. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Cipla USA and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 69097-0876. I'm not sure why the pharmacist would say that this is Percocet, as surely they are mistaken based on the pill description. I would contact them right away if you haven't done so already... Hope this helps!

What is it and why is it prescribed? Is this pill an opioid? I found it in my kid's bedroom and I would like to know what type of medication it is. ## Hi Frank, A white oval pill marked with I 71 on one side and blank on the other is reportedly identified as Bupropion hydrochloride extended release (300 mg). This medication is marketed as an antidepressant with a number of other off-label uses as well. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as InvaGen Pharmaceuticals and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 76282-0481. I hope this helps! ## It is a pain reliever. Tramadol hydrochloride 50 mg ## This identification is wrong, FYI. The first answer was correct. This pill is not Tramadol, it is Buproprion 300mg.
