We found a small white oval shaped pill. it was blank on one side and 20 on the other. it was scored but not sure which side. I found a small white pill with a DZ / 16 on one side nothing on the other. Does anyone know what it is? ## My first guess is that this is either an over the counter or a foreign medication. I say that because I even checked with the US National Institute of Health (nih.gov) and nothing was coming up which matches the imprint DZ 16. May I ask what country you are in? "DZ" almost sounds like it could be a brand of Diazepam, but to my knowledge it does not come in a 16 mg dose. So it is most likely not the case. This isn't something that anyone should take, if it hasn't been prescribed for them by their doctor. This tablet contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I just got this bottle of what is suspose to be Soma 350mg. It has 466 on one side of the white round pill blank one the other side.It does not act like a Soma at all. It does nothing for my muscle spasms & low back pain. All this little round white pill does is make me very sick, gives me a complete headache, and chest pains...I know this is NOT a REAL form of the medication SOMA!! I just dont understand why our doctors can & do give us PLACEBOS, like we're NOT going to notice... ## If you got it from a Pharmacy prescribed by a Doctor it would say on the bottle. The person did mean AZ 285. It is on the pills I bought at the 99 cent store. It is supposed to be exhedrin, that is, acetaminophen, caffeine, and aspirin. ## Hi Marsy, I think you might be referring to another discussion thread.. but just to confirm, the white round pill marked "AZ 285" is in fact identified as generic Excedrin, for headache relief. It contains 250 mgs of Acetaminophen + 250 mgs of Aspirin + 65 mgs of Caffeine. Apparently the name of the manufacturer/distributor is "A2Z Health", which explains the AZ logo as well. Oval tablet. Just found in an old purse and wondering why I have it there? ## Does this oval tab have the marking APO on the opposite side of the pill? If so, it is likely Doxazosin mesylate 2 mg (NDC 60505-0094). NOTE: the full marking would be 094 on one side and APO on the other. Doxazosin Mesylate is an alpha blocker used to treat high blood pressure and benign prostatic hyperplasia. ## I also found a white oval caplet with 094 and no markings on the other side. there is either a 6 or a 9 on the back half of the pill that is drawn with sharp lines so that the number is almost an octagon ## I believe I located your pill, Click here to see a picture of the pill. I am trying to identify a pill that is white and three sided kind of like a triangle. On one side it is split in half with wc on one side and 142 on the other.
