This white oblong pill has the number 10 on one side; other side is scored with a lower case “n” (NOT “m”) to left of the score line and “358” to the right of the score line. Oval white pill m538 ## I believe the marking on the tablet in question was actually M 358 and it contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it's a generic for Vicodin and is a narcotic analgesic. Was found in a hydrocodone bottle ## If it is stamped Watson 358 or m358 its a Lortab; which Lortab is the brand name of Hydrocodone. ## The tablet with the Z71 marking is manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and contains 500mgs of Metformin, which is used to help lower and control blood sugar in diabetics. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, flatulence, hypoglycemia, and diarrhea. (NDC 68382-0760) Payton, Lortab is the name brand for it. (NDC 16590-636, just one example.) However, it should be noted that it no longer contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, due to FDA action, combined medications cannot contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen, per dose. oblong blue pill ## L 358 is coming up as containing 4mgs of Chlorpheniramine and 10mgs of Phenylephrine, used to treat allergy symptoms. However they are usually listed as being white. That said, the color does not actually mean anything and the manufacturer can change it as they wish, especially since this is an over the counter product.
