Found inside my grandad's old boxes. Discovered a small pill box hidden with several small pills with COX on one side and GF on the other, they could be very old. One has been cut in half on purpose so it looks like it could have been dosages. Any ideas?

I have a plain white tub of yellow vals, all perfectly round. They say cox with a break line and cdc underneath. Pale with a weak bitter taste.
