Found this pill in my sons room. A333 imprinted, white oval with a line in the middle. Please, I pray it's only an over the counter product... ## Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but R333 is the code CVS uses to identify their oxycodone generic. It's a very addictive opiate: I would advise taking it from him immediately and getting him something a little less harmful, like a bong. ## Pardon, I meant A333. R333 is the code for hydrocodone. ## Take em cuz they are definitely oxycodone. ## They are not percocet or hyddocodone talk to your phamacist its an impotent drug ## Hi Deb, I am currently taking this medication, for pain. It is DEFINITELY Percocet 10/325. It's generic from Target Pharmacy. I would call a few pharmacy's. If u feel embarrassed to call, say that u are...

This pill has a 333 on it and is oblong and white has nothing on the other side of the first time. ## Hi Eli, The oblong (capsule-shaped) white pill you're describing marked "A333" is in fact identified as Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg); which is used to treat moderate to severe pain. For verification, this particular tablet is manufactured by Actavis, and has a National Drug Code of 00228-2983-11. You can also learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Oxycodone Details I hope this helps and wish you a merry christmas! ## White Pill with A333 Oblong that is generic for percocet I think needs to be looked into more closely. I don't feel it is right that they can just change medicine and people have no choice but to get it cause their insurance w...

This a333 is generic for percocet and CVS is dispensing them, OXYCODONE 10/3.25 is what they are. ## Thanks for taking the time to share this information. To anyone else needing a second opinion, I can also confirm that an oblong white pill marked with "A333" is in fact identified as Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg); which is used to treat moderate to severe pain. For verification, this tablet is said to be manufactured by Actavis, and has a National Drug Code of 00228-2983-11. Does anyone here have personal experience or feedback from trying these over other manufacturer's brands/generics? I heard one complaint about someone having stomach or GI problems from this particular form, but have yet to come across a list of inactive ingredients to see what exactly might b...

I have taken Percocet many times before and just got this new generic yesterday feel strange and nauseated since took first one yesterday ! Can I contact activas the maker or walgreens to have switched or will I have to take this for whole month ? ## Hello, Gail! How are you? Unfortunately, neither the pharmacy nor the manufacturer is likely to do anything. The best thing to do would be to talk to your doctor about possibly trying a different medication and then report this issue to FDA by calling them at 888-463-6332. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks but talked to manufacture of these and your right no ...

Wanting to know if these are these percocets ? ## Hello, Sboom! How are you? Yes, the tablet with the A 333 marking contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, while the one with the 512 marking contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Yes there is a big difference in the manufacturers of these pills. The white, round, WATSON 925s seem to work best as far as pain relief and "highness". The ovals are ok but not as good as watson...The peach or yellow pills are also less effective than the watsons. ## I just came across an article from this website,"Generics and Biosimilars" titled, "Actavis makes agreement for generic abuse-deterrent oxycodone", Posted 03/05/2013, that explains exactly why everyone is getting sick and feeling no pain relief. Please please please... complain to the FDA, to the company Actavis, which u can get on the internet and call Walgreens @800-walgreens...but tell walgreens not to send the info to ur local pharmacy.. cause they will...tell them u want ur complaint to go to t...

I just started taking the A333 pill. It is supposed to be a generic substitute for oxycodone 10/325. I was taking the Watson 932 generic substitute but was switched to the A333 pill because of drug store supply. I have noticed the A333 does not work nearly as well as the Watson 932 for me. ## Hello, Will! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. How long have you been taking this one? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, but they are usual minuscule and normally your body will adjust after a short period of time. ## I have been taking Percocet for a long time. Up until about 4 months ago I would get this strong burst of energy along with killing the pain. It would last about 4hrs. I would get the...

Anyone had stomach / intestinal effects from this particular form? I've been switched from Watson 932 10/325 because of drug store supply. ## Hi Michael, According to the Oxycodone Drug Details page, this medication can cause GI related side effects such as: diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, vomiting, urine retention, and loss of appetite. I don't know which of these symptoms you may be experiencing, but I believe they can be relatively common amongst other possible side effects. It could also be due to having a different set of inactive ingredients (otherwise known as binders/fillers). If you have a known allergy to things like corn starch (a gluten derivative) or propylene glycol (which is also used in motor oil for your car), then this might be worth looking into. I hav...

Watson is now Actavis if the article I just read is true , so your A333 is generic Percocet and hopefully works as well as the white round Watson , not sure yet tho . ## That is correct. Watson acquired Actavis and has dropped the Watson name. The tablet with the A333 marking contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Percocet. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Percocet details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Where can I read more about this.....Watson acquired Actavis and has dropped the Watson name? What is a white oblong pill with A333 on it? It is supposed to be a Percocet but feels more like a Hydrocodone to me. ## I agree. It feels like a hydrocodone to me too. It doesn't work nearly as well as the generic Watson 932 I have been taking for pain. ## The pill marked "A333" is in fact listed as generic Percocet (10/325), but I think many others would agree with you that its effects aren't quite up to par with what you would normally expect from this medication. Ever since Actavis bought out Watson, there seems to have been a downgrade in the sheer potency/efficacy of all their pain medications. The FDA also allows a pretty significant variability (20-25%) of the amount of active ingredients found in generic medications. So one scenario could be that Actavis is taki...

Hi, this is the first time I have been given the A333 oxycodone 10 -325. Normally I get the Watson 10 - 325 which has always been a decent generic brand. The Watsons 10 -325 are manufactured in the U.S.A. but I am not sure where the A333 are made or if they are equivalent to the Watsons. If you can answer my question it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Michael ## Hello, Michael! How are you? What country they are made in actually doesn't matter, if they are approved and available here in the U.S. they must meet the same quality and efficacy guidelines as the other generics and yes, these are equivalent. Is R333 Percocet 7.5/325? My last prescription for Percocet 7.5/325 said R332 and was flatter than the R333. ## Hi E J, There actually aren't any pills marked "R333" that fit your description. I think you may have meant to say "A 333" which is a white oblong pill containing 10mgs of oxycodone + 325mgs of acetaminophen (generic for Percocet). "A 332" fits the same physical description as the previous pill, aside from being slightly flatter due to having a smaller dosage of oxycodone (7.5 mg) instead of the 10mg in A333. I hope this helps explain things! ## I had a heck of a time figuring this out. R333 is the generic for A333. The ones I am getting are still made by Actavis. Check with your pharmacist, because it was unclear if the R333 designation is a univer...

Are the 325 10 rp better than the a3333? ## I live in south Florida & these are the common 10mg Percocets I've come across. The RP's are not effective at all, and are weak. the A333's are DESCENT for pain relief, and personally are OK. I find the yellow circles with C230 are best besides the pink roxies or endocets. ## Yes the ingredients didn't make me sick, but I got zero relief w a 333, I'd give the rp a 6 /10, the Alvogen are 8/10, ... but I was in s. pleased be advised, that this a333 form is not regulated my pain doctor tells me they are only about 85 to 87 percent narcotic per the food and drug administration can not regulate as if it was an name brand made in the us so if you find it strange why it worked thed first 4 hours and not the next well there is your answer. ## Hello, Meister! How are you? I think there are some basic misunderstandings going on here. It isn't that the FDA can't regulate them, because they aren't made in the U.S. that has nothing to do with it. All generics must meet the same quality control guidelines, regardless of where they are manufactured. However, the FDA permits generics to have an allowable fluctuation in the amount of the active ingredient, that difference is plus or minus 20% and it ...

Whats the difference between the two pills ## Hello, Osha! How are you? This is supposed to be Percocet??? Very concerned. ## Apparently someone else who was looking for this same exact pill on another thread, said it was supposed to be a Percocet 10/325mg tablet. However, I understand that the imprint has an R and not an A. It's just the only relative match that I found is "A333" on a white oblong (capsule-shaped) tablet. Makes me wonder if the manufacture simply made a mistake on a good batch of their pills? You could try calling the U.S. Customer Relations for Actavis at +1 (800) 272-5525. Maybe they can confirm whether or not it's truly one of their own. I hope this helps! Does anyone else recognize this pill? ## The "R" looks like an "A" after the 333. It is a Percocet.

Are pills with R 333 Oxycodone? I am sure that it is definitely a Percocet 10 325. Is that right? ## No.. But there is a percocet that is A333 made by Actavis. ## @Phillies, The only pill I'm finding online that is marked "R333", happens to be a 40mg Pantoprazole sodium delayed release tablet, used to treat symptoms of GERD and esophagitis. You never mentioned the color or shape of the tablet either, which in this case is a round yellow pill. But if you say that it's Percocet, it sounds to me like the imprint was simply misinterpreted. Because as Darwinski stated, "A333" is a 10/325mg Percocet made by Actavis; and is a white capsule-shaped pill by description. So there you have it. This could be either one of the pills mentioned above, depending on what you would...
