TEC Percocet Replacement

For chronic pain I was taking what I thought was a generic percocet which was a White Round Pill with TEC on one Side and a Line on the other side. About 3 per day. When recently I had my perscription refilled the pharmacist replaced these with a Smaller Round Pill with APO on one side and the number 5 above a line and below the number 325.They do not appear to be as effective but the pharmacist said that they were the same .Can any one explain why the change to these pills and why the difference in pain relief Thanks ## Its a cheap, generic form of percocet, perco is a registered orginal med. The smaller pill is canadian made and called oxycodocet. Its a bit stronger for pain and buzz than the TEC type, the TEC also has a cheap generic copy marked with 0386. white small oblong ip110 norco. why it doesn't work as good as watson? ## This tablet contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, a generic for Norco. This tablet is made by Interpharm. As to why it may not work as well as the ones made by Watson, well, it is a generic version of the drug. I know when you are given a generic or read the information pamphlets about them, you are told that they are exactly the same as their name brand counterparts, however, this is done to try to prevent people from being afraid to take needed medications. The truth however, is quite different. Under federal law, generics are allowed to differ in the active ingredient from their name brand counterparst by as much as PLUS OR MINUS 20%. Can no longer get blue Westward 787 Fiorcet. Bought Vantage 2355 makes me feel awful does not help headache but creates more intense one. What to do? Is there another pill similar to westward 787? ## Hello Bird, Unfortunately there is no way to know for certain which generic will work best for you until you keep testing out different ones. Different manufacturers use different "inactive" ingredients, which may cause reactions similar to the one you've experienced with the generic Fiorocet from Vantage. Have you tried the generic Fioricet from Mikart Inc.? They manufacturer an oblong white pill with the imprint MIA 110. It is scored down the middle and blank on the other side. have m365 and m368 and other hydro pills. Can I take different pills together,as long as they are hydros or vicodin ## Hi betty lou, I have identified pill imprint M365 as Acetaminophen and hydrocodone bitartrate- It contains (325 mg) of Acetaminophen and (5 mg) of Hydrocodone. The closest match I've identified in regards to pill imprint M368 is a white pill with the imprint M363; it contains (500 mg) of Acetaminophen and (10 mg) of Hydrocodone. Both pills are manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. Based on my research, Acetaminophen/Hydrocodone combinations with 5 mg of hydrocodone are given 1 to 2 doses every 4 to 6 hours, up to 8 doses per day. Combinations that contain (7.5 mg) or (10 mg) of hydrocodone are given once every 4 to 6 hours, up to 5 or 6 doses per day (depend... ...

I have found a orange round pill with a funny looking c on one side and the #223 on the other what is it? ## Generic percocet comes in a lot of shapes, forms and colors. Round, white pill with a single score on the opposite site from the "223" marking - manufactured by Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories. ## Hello, Chris! How are you? I believe that the tablet you're looking at may have that logo with the numbers 229 on it. If so, then yes, it is a generic for Percocet that contains 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. It's a capsule that's blue on one half, and green on the other half, and it's supposedly a 15 mg hydrocodone pill. But there's no markings on it at all. ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to discover exactly what this contains. If it does contain 15mgs of Hydrocodone, then it has to have been something specially ordered by a doctor and compounded by a specialty pharmacy, since it is not an amount that is normally available.
