I bought some of these from a friend, because my right hip hurts and is swollen. I'm wondering if these contain any acidametaphine. ## No, these tablets do not contain any Acetaminophen. They contain 5mgs of Oxycodone, which is a very potent narcotic analgesic that has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Oxycodone details here. However, rather than taking a medication that hasn't been prescribed for you, you need to see your doctor and discover what's wrong with your hip. Mallinckrodt hydrocodone/apap pills several years ago changed. This sounds like a similar thing to what used to be the caplet (large) shaped pills; M 0367 is now the M367 10/325mg tablet. I believe that they all changed to the same size and shape, dropping initial '0'. Some codes went out of use, most changed inbthe way described, but this tablet, if one og those, is unlikely to be of use, those things having changed well over 15 years ago. Advice; email Covidien. When in doubt... I did the same with Aspen re: Pax diazepam and Purata oxazepam, recently changed, and received courteous reply reassuring me within 48 hours. Write! ## The marking on the pill in question is often misinterpreted, since it can be hard to read on the small tablet, but it is actually M 0552 and the tablet...

thick round white pill 43 on one side blank on the other ## I've tried searching for this in the databases, both under the number 43 and 48, just in case, but I am not finding anything. This leads me to suspect that it may be something available over the counter and, in that case, it could be any one of a large number of products. There is also a small chance it could be a foreign medication that isn't from the U.S. What country was it found in?

my son has fever, just took 5mg of oxycodone, is it safe to take tylenol? ## Hello, Melody! How is your son doing? Yes, the tablet you mentioned only contains Oxycodone, so he should be able to take Tylenol, as long as it's okay with his doctor. However, it can potentiate the Oxycodone, which is why you need to check with his doctor, first. Is there anything else I can help with?

This pill was in my bottle of metformin from the pharmacists.i only noticed because it was just a bit smaller than the metformin. What is it? ## I actually came across a half white and half pink oblong shaped pill imprinted "E648" that is identified as Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25 mg. You didn't mention pink being part of the color, but it's the only match that comes up under that description. Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00185-0648 I'd probably suggest taking it over to your local pharmacy to have them check it out if this doesn't sound like it fits the bill. Does anyone else recognize this tablet without the pink color?

What is a white oblong pill with "L434" on one side and nothing on the other? ## Based on your pill description, I've located an "oblong" (capsule-shaped) white tablet marked L484, as well as a "round" white pill marked L434. The L484 tablet contains Acetaminophen 500 mg (NDC 30142-0484); a mild pain reliever and fever reducer. While the L434 pill contains Pseudoephedrine (60 mg) + Triprolidine (2.5 mg); which is used to help relieve a common cold, hay fever, and allergies. (NDC 00113-0434).
