I have one pill mixed in with all my hydroco/apap 7.5. What is it? ## Hello, Jeanene! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a generic for Percocet. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Sitting with my elderly grandfather and he tells me to get him his meds. The medicine he asked for did not match the description on the bottle. I don't know if he's gotten them mixed up or if the pharmacy did. Pharmacy is closed and I have one angry grandpa that won't take no for an answer. Can anyone identify this pill. He says it's his pain meds... ## This might be an herb supplement, or an OTC med. I cant find it on the internet. I'm not a pharmacist so I would look into the situation and see who's around him, maybe check with the pharmacist. Make sure he's getting the correct meds and that he has not been taken advantage of.. ## Is the letter N enclosed inside of an pentagon-like (house) shape by chance? I'm only curious because another discussion thr...

I found this pill in an unlabeled bottle and I've forgotten what it was. ## Hi Kim, Is there by any chance a number "5" sitting underneath "325" on the same side of the pill; with "N" on the other side? Only asking because this represents the closest match I could find on a white round pill. There doesn't seem to be a definitive ID on the pill other than people's comments saying that it is a generic Percocet pill, containing 5mg of Oxycodone + 325mg of Acetaminophen. This dosage makes sense to me, so as of now I have no reason to believe that it could be anything else. Is this a medication you can recall having in the past? ## Thank you. I thought it was something like that or phenrgan. I only had one so I threw the bottle away and put it in a small u...

I think its a c bit it looks like maybe a half moon it riund white and it has 230 on the other side ## Hi Pam, Based on the description provided, I've identified the pill to be Acetaminophen + Oxycodone hydrochloride (325 mg - 10 mg); which is used to treat moderate to severe acute (short-term) pain. NOTE: The half moon imprint does look like a "C", but in the description of the drug the manufacturer just denotes it to be a "logo" and nothing more. I hope this helps! ## yes the 230 with the half moon or c like is oxycodone 10-325.its a sub. for percocet 10. just got it filled . ## Agree with you guys ! Just had my oxycodone 10/325 refilled with these. The only drawback is you cannot break one in half, if needed. It has to be cut because it it a round pill form, not o...

I have a white pill with 7.5 on one side & 357 on the other and the pill is not helping my pain. Is this a placebo for Norco 7.5/325? ## There's a white oblong pill with "n 357 7.5", that's reportedly identified as generic Acetaminophen (325mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (7.5mg). For verification, it's made by a company called Novel Laboratories, Inc. and carries a National Drug Code of 40032-0357. You didn't state that there was an "n" on your pill, so I can only assume that it's counterfeit if you didn't get it filled at a licensed pharmacy. What shape is your pill? ## It is a short little fat white oblonge pill has 7.5 on one side the other side it has n then a line clear down the middle of the pill then 357 on other half ## This new N 357 pi...

Mallinckrodt hydrocodone/apap pills several years ago changed. This sounds like a similar thing to what used to be the caplet (large) shaped pills; M 0367 is now the M367 10/325mg tablet. I believe that they all changed to the same size and shape, dropping initial '0'. Some codes went out of use, most changed inbthe way described, but this tablet, if one og those, is unlikely to be of use, those things having changed well over 15 years ago. Advice; email Covidien. When in doubt... I did the same with Aspen re: Pax diazepam and Purata oxazepam, recently changed, and received courteous reply reassuring me within 48 hours. Write! ## The marking on the pill in question is often misinterpreted, since it can be hard to read on the small tablet, but it is actually M 0552 and the tablet...

i am taking 60 mg SR morphine, what is the equivalent to percocet 5&325 ## Hi Jack, Hello, Even though Morphine and Percocet (Acetaminophen + Oxycodone) are used to treat moderate to severe pain, they are still two different medications that are formulated in two different ways. Since these medications effect everyone differently, there is really no way to justify an equivalent dose of Morphine to create the same result as taking Percocet. An equivalent dose for one person could also be an overdose for someone else. Hopefully that makes sense. This question may be something best answered by your doctor who can make a more informed decision based on your medical records, current health, age, weight, whether or not you're taking any other medications, etc. You can learn more about...

I found a long yellowish pill that has a line on one side and absolutely nothing written on either side. It's days percocet 10:325 on the outside packaging. What is this? ## Hello, Bobby! How are you? Is there anything else on the packaging, such as manufacturer name or country of origin? In that type of packaging, it could very well be a foreign brand of Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. Many people do order from foreign sources, when they have trouble obtaining the medications they need from their doctors, due to new prescribing regulations. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## probably fake Percocets.

This pill does not help with pain management and riteaid does not stand for the customer. Too bad for me. ## A white oval pill marked with U16 on one side and blank on the other reportedly contains a combination of Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Oxycodone HCL (7.5 mg), made by Aurolife Pharmaceuticals. This pill also contains the following set of inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide + croscarmellose sodium + crospovidone + magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose + povidone + corn starch + stearic acid If some other manufacturer's version works better for you, it may be a good idea to take note of each inactive ingredient so you can better determine what it is that might be causing this lack of efficacy that's not apparent with other brands/generics.
