Round white pill with APO with a cut line and 500 under it only on one side...what is it? ## I have searched around and so far the closest pill which I have found to resemble your description is: " Each white, round, flat-faced with bevelled edge, scored, compressed tablet, identified 'APO' over '500', contains acetaminophen 500 mg " [1] So my best guess at this point is that it is called Apo-acetaminophen from Canada, containing, of course, Acetaminophen 500 mg as stated above. It's Trazodone 50 mg (trade names Desyrel, Molipaxin, Deprax, Trittico, Thombran, Trialodine, Trazorel) which is a psychoactive compound with sedative, anxiolytic, and antidepressant properties. The various manufacturers claim that the antidepressant becomes active in the first week of therapy. I have a round white pill with the imprint of I 45 (the I has a line across the top and bottom). The manufacturer is Solco Healthcare. What is this pill? ## It is 500 mgs. of Metformin. I ordered Tramadol thru the mail and was sent these small, oblong, white pills. Stamped on one side is APO, other side is stamped TR/50. This doesn't look anything like I've ever seen for Tramadol. When I refilled my perscription for Trazadone, I though the pills looked different. they are small white round pills with a split line and PLIVA 433 stamped on them. The old ones were oval I think. The old bottle says Trazodone 50 mg Tablet APO. The new one says Trazodone 50 mg Tablet PLI What is the difference? ## Only the manufacturer! PLI on the new pills stands for Pliva Pharmaceuticals and the other ones were made by Apotex. Most pharmacies will switch according to whomever provides the cheapest option when they have to reorder. It is a small, white, oval pill with the imprint APO T150 on the front and 50 50 50 on the back. It looks like a pill that could be easily smudged, so maybe some of the imprints wore off. I would definitely ask your daughter, hopefully she will be honest with you. Trazodone is indicated for: Clinical depression with or without anxiety. Insomnia, Fibromyalgia, to aid in sleeping.
