what is this pill ## i found some pills in my daughters room that i would like to indentify. it is a white capsule shaped pill with the imprint of PH 073 ## I had to look these up too. Then found the bottle in my cabinet... they are Premier Value brand, Chest Congestion & Cough Relief, Dextromethorphan HBr 20mg & 400mg Guaifenesin. ## The identification that Mother of Dreams has provided is correct, though the name they are sold under may vary, since these are sold as generics or store brands. Dextromethorphan and Guaifensin are used to treat congestion and symptoms associated with cough and colds. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth and throat. And thank you MotherofDREAMS for the information! Are there any other questions? ## I found one of th...

What is this pill? ## I have looked everywhere for information about a white oblong pill that has the impressions of ph 073 on it. No other markings. Pill identifier has no listing nor does poison control. Any assistance is much appreciated. ## Is it possibly PH 063? We have discovered that tablet to be 400mgs of Guaifenesin, a generic or store brand of Mucinex. If it really is PH 073, then it is also more than likely an oTC item, which would explain why it's not in any databases and also why poison control didn't know what it is. OTC items are not required to have their markings logged by the government. You can see several threads about the one with the PH 063 marking here: It is highly possible that this is the same substance, but in a different dosage. ## This pill PH 063 is...

Calm down. It is a WalMart generic of Mucinex with decongestant. ## Thanks for sharing your finding on this pill ID. From what I've researched, I can definitely vouch that this is a generic form of Mucinex, known as Chest Congestion Relief DM. It reportedly contains 20mgs of Dextromethorphan hydrobromide + 400mgs of Guaifenesin. For those who may be sensitive to certain binders or fillers, I've also included a list of the inactive ingredients that are found in this tablet: magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose + silicon dioxide colloidal + copovidone + maltodextrin + stearic acid Does anyone else have questions about this? ## You're pretty close. It's generic Mucinex with cough suppressant (dextromethorphan), not with decongestant.

I found 5 white oblong pills with PH on the left side and 073 on the right side. Any idea what they are? ## Reese Pharmaceutical Company lists this tablet as containing 20mgs of Dextromethorphan and 400mgs of Guaifenesin, it is available over the counter, and used to treat congestion, such as that caused by the common cold. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and drowsiness. Is there anything else I can help with?

White oval oblong pill with imprints ph 73 ## I'm sorry, but I can't find any listed for a pill with these markings. However, this could be due to the fact that the PH logo is used on over the counter products and they are not required to list those imprints with the FDA. Where was it found? Does anyone else recognize this tablet?

I found a round white pill in my pill box that has D (I think) on one side and a 5 over 73 on the other. Can anyone tell me what this is? ## No, I'm sorry, but I've been checking various resources, since I first saw your post and I can't find a listing for this in any of the U.S. Prescription drug indexes. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## Here in the US. Looking at it closer it looks like instead of a D on the one side maybe it is a crescent moon or maybe a C. Definitely a 5 over 73 on the other side ## I am currently trying to confirm this pill with the pharmacy. From what I have it is suppose to be Losartan 50mg generic for Cozaar. This is a blood pressure medication, but it is not the same as the previous pills. ## Okay, I ...

white round 739 on one side and SZ on the other. ## The closest thing I can find to this is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, they list it as being a very light green, and containing 10mgs of Methylphenidate, which is most commonly used to treat ADHD, narcolepsy, and shift-work sleep disorder. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness, insomnia, and anorexia. Is there anything else I can help with?

This pill is white and oblong. It has a print of VP50 on one side and nothing on the other side. ## @Whitaker, Based on your description, the closest match I could find was a white oblong shaped pill marked with VP 120 on one side and blank on the other. It's reportedly identified as a Sulfamethoxazole (800mg) + Trimethoprim (160mg) DS tablet, used for treating a variety of bacterial infections. I realize the imprint isn't spot on, but because they are very similar, I have a strong feeling that they could be made by the same manufacturer (Vista Pharmaceuticals). Perhaps you can try contacting them directly for more specific details on whether VP 50 is something they make. The phone number/extension to reach them at is listed on their website as 973-736-1952/4457; based out of We...

What is a white round pill with 9 | 3 on one side and 7382 on the other? ## Teva Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as being a very pale orange, and they list it as containing 75mgs of Venlafaxine, which is an SNRI antidepressant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

What type of pill is this. It is round, white and has a 5 above the line and a 73 below the line. ## After trying several variations of "5 73" I haven't been able to locate a match in any of the U.S. prescription drug databases. Odds are that it could be either manufactured outside of the U.S. or that it is an over the counter medication, as OTC meds aren't required to be listed in the drug databases. If you're able to, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. Also double check the marking if you think there's more to it than what you stated. Hopefully someone else on here has some information on it. ## I just got a refill from Walmart for generic Cozaar, Losartan, ...

This tablet is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 50mgs of Atenolol, which is used to treat high blood pressure, and certain cardiac conditions. What is a round, white, scored tablet that has m over 100 on one side, and nothing on other side? Is this Metoprolol Succinate? ## A white round pill marked with “m” over “100” on one side and scored on the other, is in fact identified as Metoprolol Succinate ER. NDC: 00186-7302 (Discontinued) Manufacturer: Par Pharmaceuticals ## I am on the prescription Metoprolol ER 200 mg. I just refilled my script and noticed the pill to be a different size. I called the pharmacy and it was verified that I have the correct pills. The last bottle of this medicine was a rather large, football shape pill. I do not have any more of those, but am wondering if I was given the wrong pills last time. Does this medicine come in other shapes?

I found pills in the cabinet. they are small white, and round with 94 on one side and 73 on the other. What are they ## Was the marking possibly 93 74? Can you please double check and post back to clarify? Thank you! If it matches the markings I've mentioned Teva Pharmaceuticals lists them as containing 10mgs of Zolpidem, which is used for the short term treatment of insomnia. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, sleep actions, hallucinations, and next day hangover-like effects.

Hello! I recently was switched to the the Sun Pharma version of my Bupropion SR and wanted to know if anyone has experiened or heard of trouble with them. So far, they seem to be doing the job, but I recently have developed some upper (not stomach) abdominal pain which cannot be really pinpointed to anything. (Closest so far is a pinched nerve round the rib cage) Until recently I hadn't really concidered if the switch in medicine could be the reason. Any feedback on this brand's version of Wellbutrin? As a sidenote, I had been taking the Watson version(WPI 839)for about 2 -3 years with no problems, and previously had an extremely poor reaction to Teva (an extreme crash). I've never been lucky enough to afford the read deal so cannot offer any comparisons with that. ## Hello,...

White triangular pill. Blank on one side and s50 on the other ## Hello, The closest match I've been able to find is Sumatriptan succinate (50 mg). Sumatriptan is indicated for the treatment of migraine headaches. It is a white triangle pill with the imprint S on one side and 50 on the other. Since this is such a close match, it could very well be your pill- but possibly made by a different pharmacy who gave it a slightly different imprint. Manufacturer: Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 55111-0736 You can learn more about this drug on the page for Sumatriptan Details I hope this helps!
