White oval pill with E and then 281, it's supposed to be Metoprolol but they are smaller than the other ones I had before. ## The size of a tablet is only dependent on what filler/inactive ingredients the manufacturer has decided to us in the production formula, and the medication dosage, so pill sizes can differ from one manufacturer to another. The tablet with the E 281 marking was manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, and they listed it as containing 25mgs of Metoprolol, which is commonly used to treat high blood pressure, and certain cardiac conditions. NDC: 00185-0281 This tablet has been discontinued. Ref: Medline Plus Metoprolol The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, hypotension, and increased urination.

The person did mean AZ 285. It is on the pills I bought at the 99 cent store. It is supposed to be exhedrin, that is, acetaminophen, caffeine, and aspirin. ## Hi Marsy, I think you might be referring to another discussion thread.. but just to confirm, the white round pill marked "AZ 285" is in fact identified as generic Excedrin, for headache relief. It contains 250 mgs of Acetaminophen + 250 mgs of Aspirin + 65 mgs of Caffeine. Apparently the name of the manufacturer/distributor is "A2Z Health", which explains the AZ logo as well. Hope this info helps!

Looking to find out what a long/ oval white tabley is with a weird E type symbol and 28 and nothing on the other side. it is not scored. ## I'm sorry, but I can't find any listings for this in our U.S. prescription drug resources. Where was it found? Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## I think that is Disulfiram (generic of Antabuse) 250 mg, manufactured and/or distributed by Rising and/or Sigma Pharmaceuticals. The weird E thingy is uppercase Greek letter sigma. In some reference sites it's indexed as "Logo 28" quoting from a product info sheet found on dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?id=46495 "HOW SUPPLIED: Disulfiram Tablets, USP: 250 mg - White, capsule shaped tablets debossed "Σ 28" on one side and plain on the other side. I have a white oblong pill that just has A5 on it. I cant find info on it anywhere. Is it supposed to be oxycodone? ## There are white round Oxycodone (5mg) pills that are marked with A5, but I haven't come across an oblong one yet. For verification, the round ones are manufactured by Actavis and carry a National Drug Code of 00228-2876. You could contact Actavis directly to find out if they switched from round pills to oblong pills... Otherwise, if yours isn't from a licensed pharmacy then I can only assume that it's counterfeit, foreign, or something else altogether. Hope this helps!

It's a white round pill with the imprint P 20 and a line going through the middle on one side, and it's blank on the other side. ## The 20 is an indication of the dosage. I have similar pills that are a generic brand of the anti-anxiety medication Lexapro 20ml ## Hi Kelly, I just wanted to confirm that the white round pill marked with P 20 is in fact reported to be Escitalopram oxalate (20mg) - the generic for Lexapro. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Solco Healthcare US and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 43547-0282-10. You can view a small image of it on the manufacturer's product page at: solcohealthcare.com/Escitalopram20-100.html If you look closely at the image, you can see P 20 above a score line on one side and blank on the back.
