White short oblong pill with watson 853 on one side and line on other side ## Hello, Kellie! How are you? Watson Pharmaceuticals list this tablet as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. These are the tablets that used to be yellow, but Watson recently started removing the dye from their products, due to some people being allergic to them. Is there anything else I can help with?

Found pills in my daughter's room. Small, one white and one blue pill, both say WATSON on one side . Blue says 50/30 and white says 75/40. Can you please tell me what they are? Thanks ## These are birth control tablets from a package of birth control called Preven, the numbes are the dose of hormones in the pills for that week. The Blue pill is the starter week and the White pill is from the second week. Here's an image of them, though they are in the package so you can't see the markings, but I did confirm this with two professional sites: Preven Image Click Here

Is there any type of herb that can be used that will do the same as the ativan ## Hello, Cynthia! How are you? There are some available, such as Ashwagandha, but since they are only classified by the FDA as supplements, there is no proof that they actually work, though some people swear by them. They are also not known to be habit forming, like the benzodiazepines and they seem to cause far less side effects. You can certainly try something, if your doctor approves. Are you on any other medications? ## Can you purchase this over the counter vitamin (Ashwanganda) in the health food store?

I have always taken the Watson 853 yellow pill and for some reason I was just given Watson 853 white pills. What is going on? Why the color difference? ## It seems from other posts made on here recently that Watson is just removing the dyes from some of their products. There have been some complaints from people that have had sensitivity or allergic reactions to them, so they have been doing away with them. However, as long as the imprint is the same and your pharmacy has listed it as being the same medication and the same dosage, then you shouldn't have any reason to worry. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Not the same for sure! ## I have experienced poor results with the white pills. How long is watson 357 good for? ## There's actually a lot of conflicting information around the topic of expired medication, but according to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. This conclusion was based upon a study conducted at the request of the US military due to stockpiles of expensive drugs they could otherwise need to replace every few years. The conclusion was that 90% of those drugs remained effective 10 - 15 years after the expiration date. But the question is whether or not the drug you have happens to be one of these drugs from the study... (I have not seen the list of drugs used in this study). Source: health...
