Metformin tab 500 mg-the tabs ( white oval with 93 on one side48 on other side.)I ordered 08/ 2011 had a terrible smell.
I called the pharmacy that I always order from and they they told me they had no recalls on these 500 mg Metformion tabs by TEVA and there was nothing they could do. ## Joyce,i cant believe if the vitamins smelled bad,the pharmacist wouldnt refund your money back to u. ## Metformin is not a vitamin, it is an oral antidiabetic medication. Actually, it is completely normal for this medication to have a very bad odor. Many companies just manage to keep you from smelling it by putting a coating on the tablets, so the smell never reaches your nostrils. In this case, these pills may not have the coating or it may not be as thick as normal. Are there any other questions or comments? ...

I'm not finding any listings for this in the prescription drug databases that I've checked. And being as the first post in this thread was from 2011, that leads me to suspect that it's probably an over the counter medication of some type and some of them are regional, which may help to narrow it down. There is also a small chance that it could be a fore... ...

Round White Searle 1421
HI I HAVE A MEDIUM SIZE WHITE PILL CALLED I WANT TO KNOW IF TAKEN BY MISTAKE WHAT EFFECTS I MIGHT GET ? I'M TOM I LIVE EDMONTON TODAY.S DATE NOV 10 2011 ## Hi Tom, "Searle 1421" is identified as Arthrotec (diclofenac sodium 75 mg + misoprostol 200 mcg). This medication is prescribed for treatment of arthritis symptoms while at the same time providing protection from the development of stomach and intestinal ulcers due to the arthritis medication. I can't really tell you how these drugs will effect you if ingested; medications can affect everyone differently, some people get great results from taking, but there are others that it doesn't work for and the only way to find out is to actually try it. Not that I recommend doing so. You can read more about this drug by fol... ...

A Sealed Bottle of Sun from another land, India?
I have not seen a sealed bottle in quite some time. Today the Doctor wrote for 100 2 MG and I got a full bottle. Now they're from India. Is this going to be a problem. How is Sun. Should I try one being that its from India and all? Are they safe. Answers to these questions would mean little to me as I have many Xanax from different makers made worldwide. Sure they might differ from time to time, but it is not like I have a choice when I visit my Pharmacy. Any FDA approved HORROR Stories about Sun, White Oblong 11? ## Great, I just checked our board and found out these Xanax pills are not liked by most. Well I'll put them in the back of the cue and pull out a new bottle. I am working on my 2011 supply. Another $1.93 possibly wasted (along with $20 to the doc!) ## Hello, Eddy! How... ...

Is Watson Discontinuing Hydro Co Blue 10 500
my pharmacist told me that watson is discontinuing the hydrocodone blue 10/500 rx, and the only ones we would be able to get is the white generic, the white ones make me goofy, so why are they not going to produce the blue 10/500 anymore or is she full of a crap as an independant pharmacy, family owned?? ## From the information I've just found, your pharmacist is correct. In January of 2011, the U.S. FDA asked manufacturers to start limiting the amount of Acetaminophen in these combination medication products to only 325mgs and to discontinue the 500mg and higher versions. They wanted the changes to all be made by January of 2014. Some companies have already done so and the rest are slowly instituting the change to have all their products in compliance by the designated time. That d... ...

Is this what they call break through bleeding?
I have been on Minsatrin 24 fe for about three months now (before that I was on loestrin and then got put on gildis (Or whatever that off brand is. I can never remember how to spell it) so I've been on birth control since 2011) bc no one told me I could get minastrin for the same price as loestrin. Anyways, I got really sick last night and woke up with blood consistent with a period (with even a little clotting). I'm only on the second row of white pills and I've never had this happen before. Has this happened to anyone else or what is this? ## Hi Rikuya! It is normal 2 have break through bleeding, while on the birth control. It may happen 4 a couple of months or so, until your body becomes adjusted 2 the new birth control. If u continue 2 have heavy bleeding and clotting, I... ...

describe Naprosyn
what does Naprosyn look like? Large White/Tan pill? ## I have been prescribed Naproxen Sodium 550mg Tab ITP. My pill is an oblong, blue tablet with the markings "IP" & "194" on one side. Is this the correct tablet, because I'm reading different descriptions and they are always saying the tablet is white or tan???? Help!!! (It says on the Rx bottle: for Anaprox DS 550mg tablet ROC") Please advise asap! ## @MildGrandma (post #1), I see your post was made back in 2011, so I don't know if you still check back here for responses. Just to confirm though, an oblong blue pill marked with "IP 194" on one side and blank on the other, contains 550 mgs of Naproxen Sodium (also known as Anaprox; which is just another brand name for Naproxen). L 484
long oval shaped white with L484 on one side. ## L 484 is 500 mg Acetaminophen a generic extra strength Tylenol. ## This identification is correct, however, I'd like to add some updated information, since it did not apply at the time these posts were made. As of January 2011, a Black Box warning has been added to over the counter products containing Acetaminophen. It was revealed that it has been responsible for almost half of the Acetaminophen related liver failure instances in the U.S. They have concluded that its relationship to it is mainly due to overdose. Being that it is an over the counter product, many people just assume that it's safe to use as they please. So, this was done in an effort to try to help make it more obvious to consumers that it can be toxic if taken in ... ...
